- Yuliya passed away on March 16, 2019 from a sudden medical emergency. Eight days earlier, during a rehearsal for an event in Moscow, Yuliya passed out. She was subsequently taken to hospital, where her situation worsened and she started suffering from gangrene in her legs. She passed 3 days after being put into an artificial coma. She was 38.[2]
