Werner Joubert

Werner Joubert is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Philippines.

Well-liked by his Mindanao tribemates, pastor Werner was at the center of an unbreakable majority alliance, which he reinforced during the tribe expansion and solidified following the second tribe switch. As the "kingpin" of the Luzon Alliance, he made a crucial pact with Tom Swartz that allowed him to take control of the post-merge game and march all the way into the endgame despite the warnings of the alliance outsiders. After ruthlessly blindsiding his closest allies Toni Tebbutt and Katinka Oosthuizen, Werner's lackies eventually wised up to his web of lies and worked together to seal his fate after he lost the Immunity Challenge at the final four. Werner also holds the distinction of being the first person in Survivor South Africa to be voted out of the jury.
