Vusi Mafulela is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Philippines.
A member of Palesa Tau's alliance on the Luzon tribe, Vusi came out on the right side of the numbers after a shocking rock draw at his tribe's second Tribal Council. Joining Palesa on the new Visayas tribe, Vusi showed his strength in challenges and played an indelible role in getting the four former Luzon members on Visayas to the merge. There, the Mindanao alliance recognized Vusi's challenge threat and used their numbers' advantage to get rid of him at Araw's first vote.

Vusi is a family man who loves swimming, nature and a glass of whiskey every now and then. His strategy going into Survivor is to let the Alpha males take charge and put targets on their backs while keeping the focus off him. A charming all-rounder who is physically strong and also loves a good puzzle, Vusi's downfall could be his impatience with people who come across as disingenuous or fake, as he is bound to encounter these traits in a game like Survivor![1]
