The oldest castaway of her season, Valérie seemed to be a bit on the outs. She also admired Sam's survival skills, unlike most of the other Lawakis who criticized his inability to integrate within the tribe. When Lawaki lost the second Immunity Challenge, Valérie quickly felt that her time had come as she was less fit and more tired than the rest of her tribe. She was voted out after advising Sam to be more social and friendly to his tribemates.
