Koh-Lanta[]
During the marooning, Denis Brogniart presented the Race to Shore challenge to the contestants, in which the first male and first female contestants to retrieve a bamboo section from a tree upon arriving at the shore would win an advantage. Véronique, who had a fear of heights and struggled in the water, had difficulty jumping out of the boat and had to be carried to the shore by a lifeguard after jumping. Érick Africaa and Jade Handi won the challenge and the advantage, which made them tribe captains and granted them the right to form their tribes in a Schoolyard Pick, and Véronique was picked last by Érick to be a member of the Guntao tribe. Immediately, Véronique proved to be out of her element and a liability in challenges, especially in those involving water. She was pegged to be the first to go when the Guntao tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge. However, Véronique's morale boosted and she positively quipped that she was ready to fight back, which, in turn, boosted her tribemates' morale and led to them deeming her the tribe's "mascot." Meanwhile, Pascale Bodin's irritable delegations, along with her costing the tribe the first Immunity Challenge and her decline in productivity around camp, resulted in her being considered for elimination as well. Ultimately, Pascale was voted out over Véronique, whose potential for improvement contrasted with Pascale's recent decline. Over the next few cycles, Véronique continued to be a positive force around camp, but also continued to be effectively useless in challenges. On Day 10, the tribe's women went fishing, but quickly stopped after Véronique pricked herself on a sea urchin.
When the Batang tribe won the fourth Reward Challenge on Day 11, they were rewarded with the right to permanently kidnap one of the members of the Guntao tribe as part of a tribe switch. The Batang tribe chose Érick, who up until then was the leader of the Guntao tribe. The fifth Reward Challenge consisted of trekking and earning amulets in a couple of mini-challenges along the way, which made Véronique feel that it was finally her time to shine as she is a seasoned hiker back in France. However, Véronique was hiking in a different environment than she was used to and ended up trailing her tribemates and slowing them down throughout the trek. The Guntao tribe ultimately lost this challenge. After a healthy streak of Immunity Challenge wins, the Guntao tribe also lost the fifth Immunity Challenge. With her tribemates feeling that they could no longer sustain her challenge liability, Véronique was voted out unanimously on Day 16. As Véronique exited the Tribal Council area, she received an ovation from her former tribemates.
