Trish is regarded as a relatively strong social player, keeping her allies in check and reassuring them after consistent blindsides perpetrated by her alliance. However she was not afraid to get confrontational, namely with Lindsey Ogle and Kass McQuillen. She is responsible of the blindsides of Cliff Robinson and Sarah Lacina which put her alliance in a strong position. She is also known for her impassioned jury speech towards Tony Vlachos.

She quickly bonded with Tony Vlachos, and soon after, his ally Sarah. When Tony lied to Sarah by saying that Cliff Robinson and Lindsey Ogle were gunning for her, Sarah convinced Woo Hwang and Trish to join their alliance and throw the upcoming Immunity Challenge to vote Cliff out, followed by Lindsey. Cliff, however, single-handedly saved himself by winning the challenge for Aparri despite Sarah, Trish, and Woo's attempts to throw the challenge.
Survivor: Cagayan
During the First Impressions twist on Day 1, she was pegged as the weakest by Tribe Leader Sarah Lacina, and was "voted out." In reality, she was given a helicopter ride to camp, while the rest of her tribe was forced to make their way on foot. Upon her early arrival, she was given the option of choosing between a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol or an extra bag of rice for the tribe. Not wanting to be selfish, Trish chose the extra bag of rice.

At the Tribe Switch, all the Aparri members barring Sarah were switched to the new Solana tribe with original members Jefra Bland and LJ McKanas. Trish bonded with LJ when she found out that he was also from Massachusetts and started flirting with him, leading Lindsey to become suspicious of her. When Solana lost the next Immunity Challenge, Trish talked to Tony about voting out Cliff instead even though they had the numbers, reasoning that Cliff does not help out around camp and has not said a word to her since Day 1. At Tribal Council, Trish, Jefra, LJ, and Tony blindsided Cliff, shocking Lindsey and Woo. Upon returning to camp, Trish and Lindsey went at it because Trish claimed that Lindsey does nothing around camp, while Lindsey claimed that Trish was bullying her. After the heated argument, Lindsey went to another part of the beach because she has a little girl at home and did not want to become violent with Trish. Despite their feud, Trish said in a confessional that she was worried about Lindsey leaving the camp late into the night and hoped that she was okayHost Jeff Probst approached Lindsey on the beach and asked her what she wanted to do, leading Lindsey to decide to quit the game.

Trish made it to the merge on Day 17 and became part of the merged tribe, Solarrion. Being down in numbers, her Solana Alliance needed Sarah's vote, but Sarah overheard her former allies, along with Jefra and LJ, yell "Top 5!" at the previous challenge, which made her feel excluded. Trish saw an opportunity when she noticed Kass McQuillen's continued arguments with Sarah. Kass and Tasha Fox asked Sarah if she was willing to send home Trish or Jefra, both of whom Sarah refused to vote out because she would rather target a strong male such as LJ or Tony, neither of whom she believed to have a Hidden Immunity Idol. Realizing Sarah was no longer on their side, Trish went to talk to Kass to convince her to go with the Solana Alliance. At Tribal Council, Kass decided to flip and Sarah became the first member of the jury.

After LJ was blindsided by Tony and Woo, Jefra felt insecure about Tony's deception towards everybody and confronted Trish to try to gun for him. Trish and Kass, however, were able to assuage Jefra's fears and pull her back into their alliance. Tony overheard Trish and Jefra's conversation from his spy shack, giving him motivation to turn on Jefra. Several days later, Tony and Woo began to fear the possibility of an alliance forming between the remaining women and used the remaining minority of Spencer Bledsoe and Tasha to blindside Jefra.

Tony won the Reward Challenge on Day 34 and chose Trish to share it with him. This confirmed to Kass, Spencer, and Woo that Trish and Tony were in a tight alliance and were surprised that Tony did not pick his right-hand man, Woo. Trish overheard Kass talking about voting her out from behind their shelter and picked a heated argument with her. At Tribal Council, Kass, Spencer, Tony, and Woo all voted for Trish, while Trish voted for Kass. As Kass flipped her off on her way out, Trish became the seventh member of the jury.

At the Final Tribal Council, Trish started with Woo, asking who was the one who came up with the idea of blindsiding her. Woo admitted that he did and Trish then told Woo that she appreciated his honestly. Trish then lambasted Tony, telling him she spent the entire game calming him down during his episodes of paranoia and convincing their other allies to stay with them. Trish also castigated Tony for swearing on his wife, child, and late father's grave, mentioning that they made a pact with her swearing on her two late brothers and she would never go back from such a promise. Despite being hurt, Trish still voted for her long-time ally Tony to win the title of Sole Survivor.

Patricia "Trish" Crowley Hegarty[1] is a contestant from Survivor: Cagayan.

Trish is regarded as a relatively strong social player, subtly managing relationships and remaining loyal to Tony Vlachos even after being left in the dark by him for multiple votes. However, she occasionally demonstrated a confrontational streak, as manifested in bitter disputes with Lindsey Ogle and Kass McQuillen. She played a major role in the blindsides of Cliff Robinson and Sarah Lacina, which were crucial in establishing the dominance of the Solana Alliance. She was ultimately blindsided at the final five due to her close alliance with Tony. She is also known for her impassioned jury speech calling Tony to account for his habit of falsely swearing on his dead relatives.

Profile

Retrieved from CBS.com

Name (Age): Trish Hegarty (48)
Tribe Designation: Brawn Tribe
Current Residence: Needham, Mass.
Occupation: Pilates Trainer
Personal Claim to Fame: My children.
Inspiration in Life: Helen Keller was an Earth Angel that taught the world a whole new language in touch and opened our eyes to the power of sense and created the gateway to what we now call special needs.
Hobbies: Figure skating, writing and swimming.
Pet Peeves: Liars, laziness, manipulators and arrogance.
3 Words to Describe You: Character, charismatic and loyal.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? Toothbrush (I do not want hard woven sweaters on my teeth), my thought for the day book to keep me spiritually grounded, and a picture of my girls to remind me why I was willing to leave them for so long in hopes to win money for a better future for both of them.
Survivor Contestant You Are Most Like: I relate to Danni Boatwright. She played a true and honest game. She crushed the challenges and her social skills were top notch.
Reason for Being on Survivor: From the birth of Survivor, everyone has told me I would be the best survivor Survivor ever had. I have diligently put tapes in when I thought the tape was the right time, and I believe years of manifesting and believing in myself and my girls at ages they are at, that this was the time to prove to not only myself but all the thousands of people I know DREAMS COME TRUE! Trick is you have to make them happen and never lose sight of your dreams. Dream Big!!
Why You Think You'll "Survive" Survivor: I am a great team player, a very hard worker, a very positive thinker and an incredible people person. I get along instantly with most people. I am not a control freak and I go with the flow.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole Survivor: My greatest strength is my intuition and my people skills. I am a chameleon with people and have an ability to read people and situations with great strength. On top of that, I have a lot of charisma and positive energy, and I am likeable, incredibly agile and a good athlete.
Do You Consider Yourself a Brain, a Beauty or a Brawn? I would consider myself a Brawn. I was raised in a home with four very tough brothers who were all incredible hockey players. They used to put me in goal and take slap shots off me from about two feet away when I was in kindergarten. Needless to say, they taught me well. I grew up athletic, tough and confident in the defense of myself and others. My life has been very difficult with many ugly and unpredictable obstacles and I made a conscious choice to never give up on myself or my dreams. I believe it is my God given tenacity and spirit that I was born with that gives me the title: Brawn. As my brother Mark always said so well, I am a TOUGHY TIGER!!
Who Do You Think Has the Best Chance in the Game of Survivor: Brains, Beauty or Brawn? I think that the Brawns will win without question as long as they do not allow their egos to take over. I think common sense in the game of Survivor is essential and often times really smart people lack that. I also think it is one thing to be able to build a spaceship and whole different story when it comes to building a shelter and toughing it out in the woods. Beauty is just beauty. How do you build shelter, fires and boil your own water on your looks? I think a Brawn will win.[2]

During the First Impressions twist on Day 1, Trish was pegged as the weakest by Tribe Leader Sarah Lacina, and was "voted out". In reality, she was given a helicopter ride to camp, while the rest of her tribe was forced to make their way on foot. Upon her early arrival, she was given the option of choosing between a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol or an extra bag of rice for the tribe. Not wanting to be selfish, Trish chose the extra bag of rice.

Despite their feud, Trish said in a confessional that she was worried about Lindsey leaving the camp late into the night and hoped that she was okay. Host Jeff Probst approached Lindsey on the beach and asked her what she wanted to do, leading Lindsey to decide to quit the game.
