The castaways will be challenged to observe an event or location. Afterwards, the host will ask a series of questions testing their recall of what they have observed.

The challenge debuted in The Amazon as the second Immunity Challenge. Jaburu and Tambaqui were given two minutes to observe a traditional Amazon home, after which Jeff Probst asked both tribes a series of questions about the home. The men of Tambaqui won their first challenge, sending Jaburu to Tribal Council.
In Vanuatu, the final seven castaways were tested on their memory of past challenges; at stake was the right for their loved one to stay overnight at camp. Eliza Orlins won the challenge.
The challenge reappeared as the the first individual Immunity Challenge in China. At the merge, the newly formed Hae Da Fung tribe was treated to a feast and festivities. Later at camp, Jeff showed up to the tribe with a surprise: the castaways' memory of the events of the feast would be tested. The quiz would operate such that any castaway that answered a question wrongly would be eliminated from the challenge. At the last question, Frosti Zernow defeated Jaime Dugan to win immunity.
Australia[]
The challenge was used as the penultimate Immunity Challenge in Australian Survivor (2002). The final four were quizzed on their memory of the season's past events. If a contestant answered five questions incorrectly, they were eliminated. Despite Katie Gold having a Challenge Advantage, Rob Dickson defeated her, claiming immunity.
South Africa[]
In Champions, the challenge was used under the mechanics of the Survivor Quiz Show as the intervening Immunity Challenge between votes at the Double Elimination on Night 21. Nico Panagio asked the Juara tribe a series of questions about past events of the season. On the last question, which concerned the third Captains' Duel on Day 1, Zavion Kotze hesitated on his answer, giving Buhle Madlala the chance to change her answer as well. Zavion turned out to be wrong in switching his answer, allowing Buhle to win her first Immunity Necklace.
