Survivor NZ[]
As an army veteran and the oldest contestant at the Mogotón tribe, Tony quickly embraced the leading role while building the camp. Tony found himself in an alliance with Sala Tiatia and Shay Tapusoa, who all agreed to go after Tom Paterson. However, during the Immunity Challenge on Day 4, Tony caused his tribe the victory due to miscommunication. After heading back to camp, Tony made sure that his alliance was going to vote out Tom. Meanwhile, Avi Duckor-Jones wanted to vote out Tony in order to keep his tribe cohesive. Sala, who wanted to stay true to his word, told Tony that his name was on the chopping block. Tony went for a last-minute scrambling, saying that if he would come back from Redemption Island, he would be angry at his tribe. At Tribal Council, Shay turned on Tony, voting him out in a 4–2–1 vote.
On Day 6, at Redemption Island, Tony saw Lou McClintock and Sala on the bench to view the duel. He expressed feeling backstabbed by his alliance. Lou and Sala assured Tony they didn't vote for him, but Tony said to Georgia Bergerson and Shannon Quinn from the Hermosa tribe, who were there to watch the duel, that if he would come back to the game, he would join them to go after those who betrayed him. He proceeded to defeat Hannah Gough to stay in the game. On Day 10, before competing in the third duel, Tony saw Avi, Shay, and Tom come to witness the duel. Tony lashed at Shay before losing to Izzy Pearson and leaving the game.
