Antoinette Naomi "Toni" Tebbutt[1] is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Philippines and Survivor South Africa: Return of the Outcasts.
In Philippines, Toni was a member of the majority alliance that controlled the Mindanao tribe. After the tribe expansion, she reinforced her bond with Werner Joubert on the new Luzon tribe, but was switched back to Mindanao, where she conspired with PK Phetoe to blindside the Mindanao leader Tevin Naidu. This backfired when Mindanao was forced to go from three members to two, and Toni and PK entered the merge finding themselves on the outer rungs of Werner's new majority alliance. With Werner's reassurance, Toni reluctantly played as a number in the alliance until she was blindsided at the final seven by her former number-one ally.
During her rocky start in Return of the Outcasts, Toni's emotions took a hit as tempers continually flared between herself, Marian de Vos, and Danté De Villiers. Following the tribe switch, Toni's game saw an uptick as she controlled the new Masu tribe, but her grip was gradually undone by Steffi Brink, who managed to pull Killarney Jones away from her lead. When she lost her ally Palesa Tau at the Joint Tribal Council, Toni entered the merge short on allies; unable to rally the numbers to save herself, she became the first person voted out of the Salan tribe.

This Crossfit fanatic hopes that she can downplay her physical prowess until later in the game while focusing on her ability to play a good social game within her tribe. Content developer Toni Tebbutt feels that changes in her life post-Survivor SA: Philippines has allowed her to live her full life. The devoted fitness fiend made the move to Cape Town recently – part of her personal reinvention – and she says Survivor SA is an important part of her story.
Toni is incredibly active in the Survivor SA community, hosting online Survivor SA games, participating in fan events and is very vocal on social media platforms. Her straight-talking persona from the show reflects her in real life, too. A bold character, she is someone who isn't afraid to address conflict.
She feels she made too many emotional choices during her season, rather than listening to her gut. Understanding the need to form social bonds early in the game, she says she's had to learn to stroke egos – and isn't afraid to use that skill. ^1 In "Episode 6", Luzon and Mindanao were subjected to a joint and mock Tribal Council where the players they voted out were switched to the other tribe. The person voted off Luzon, Josie, was given the privilege to take an original tribemate with her. She chose Toni to join her on Mindanao.

Post-Survivor[]
- Toni, along with nineteen other former Survivor, Australian Survivor, Survivor South Africa, and Survivor New Zealand contestants, competed in the second Survivor-themed mini-competition of Sequester on June 20, 2020. She was eliminated in the eighth round, finishing in 13th place.[4]
