Thunder Storms and Sacrifice is the season finale of Survivor: Guatemala.

Story

“	A surprise from a local family quickly shakes up the Final Four in a traditional Maya ceremony. Later, a surprise thunderstorm sets the Survivors wondering if a decision they made upset the Maya gods. Two Survivors question their alliance and agree on who should be eliminated. Will this decision work to their advantage? With only three days left, the Final Four face off in an intense battle to make it to the end. Who will outwit, outlast and outplay to be become the Sole Survivor?	”

Challenge: Maya Maze
The Final Four castaways must move through a giant macaw-shaped maze to find one of six stations, grab a three-sided color-coded puzzle piece (or pieces), then get to the end of the pool, cross pontoons to the other side, climb a ladder to the solving stations, cross a bridge, and climb down a ladder to re-enter the maze. First to get all eight of their pieces to their solving station and form one of three possible images (jaguar, crocodile, or monkey) wins.

Challenge: Wobbly Boots
The castaways must use two thin ropes to help them get onto a board sitting on a very tiny fulcrum joint, making it hard to balance, then last as long as they can without touching the platform beneath the board. After one hour, they must let go of one of the ropes, then let go of the second 30 minutes later, at which point neither hand can touch any part of the challenge setup. The last person left wins.

Final Words

	Lydia	“	This was by far the hardest experience I've ever had in my life. The heat and the mosquitoes, and hardly any food. So I'm very proud of myself. You know, just the history alone and be on the ruins on a daily basis for 37 days was a very, very incredible experience. And I would not trade this for the world.	”

	Rafe	“	Wow, I feel I think I played a smart game and as honest a game as I could. So I'm really proud of myself. I'm proud of what I did. You know, I stayed true to my moral compass and I betrayed people when I thought I should and I stuck with people when I thought I should. Danni, I understand the decision you made but I thought you were the one person who would take me to the Final Two and you didn't, so, Stephenie, I'm absolutely rooting for you. I think you played a great game. And I'll be voting for you tomorrow night.	”
