Thomas enjoyed a comfortable position on the Lagi tribe, being a member of the all-male "California Girls" alliance and multiple side alliances, as well as holding a Vote Steal that nobody knew about. The tribe switch on Day 8 moved Thomas with his "California Girls" intact to the new Vula tribe, and it seemed that the alliance would control the tribe with their numerical majority over the former Civa members. Lulled into a false sense of security, the Lagi men found themselves blindsided when Kyle Fraser played an idol, leading to Thomas' elimination.

Why do you want to be part of Survivor? I always encourage those around me to chase their dreams and be vulnerable, so I feel like it's time for me to take my own advice and do something I love, even if it scares me to death.
What's one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game? My friend and I lament that we work in “a viper pit” on a regular basis – nothing has prepared me more for this game than the music business.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like? Sophie Clarke. The woman has it all. Smart, savvy, personable, and knows when to kick it into high gear and when to blend in with the pack.
What will you value in an alliance partner? Someone who not only is honest with me, but can also be a shield and more of a threat.
Favorite Hobbies: The Real Housewives, homemade ice cream, reading, cold brew, my dogs.
Pet Peeves: Being late, traffic, losing to UCLA
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Probably putting myself out there to be on this show and be tested to my limits, when I know deep down I am a delicate man who really loves a nice bed and 3 meals a day.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I am a major sports fanatic and college football is one of my favorite things in the world.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why? My husband Michael. He is thoughtful and brave, completely unafraid to do the right thing in any situation.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor? I'm going to hoodwink these people into thinking I'm not a threat until it's too late and there's nothing they can do.[1]
Survivor
Beginning the game on Lagi, Thomas quickly bonded with the other men and formed the "California Girls" alliance. Although Thomas additionally secured a tight alliance with Bianca Roses, his main alliance of Joe Hunter and Shauhin Davari favored Eva Erickson to be their fourth member. This locked in outcast Star Toomey as the consensus target, but as Lagi won the first three Immunity Challenges prior to the swap, that didn't materialize. The only hint of dissent within Thomas' alliance was Shauhin's concerns that Thomas was playing too hard.
On Day 8, Thomas was swapped to Vula, now consisting of the California Girls and Civa's Kamilla Karthigesu and Kyle Fraser. Having earned a Vote Steal Advantage from a Journey on Day 4, Thomas felt confident in his position in the game. Unbeknownst to the Lagi men however, Kamilla and Kyle not only played down their connection but Kyle secretly had a Hidden Immunity Idol. That secret remained intact when Vula lost the Day 9 Immunity Challenge, after which Thomas and his allies searched through Kyle's bag. This search did tip Kyle off to play his idol at Tribal Council though, where Thomas was blindsided by a 3-0 vote.
