This Is Why You Play Survivor is the sixth episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

Challenges

Challenge: A-Tension Span
Two members of each tribe will race out to a set of poles. They will then use poles to hold a buoy over a balance beam. The buoy will then be used to release a boat, where they will pull themselves by a rope to a platform. Using a slingshot, they must use a rope ball to hit two targets. The first two tribes to knock down their targets win.
Reward: Ten pizzas and soft drinks (1st place); one pizza (2nd place)

Winners (in order of finish): Soko and Yawa

Challenge: Discy Business
All members of the tribe will have to pull on rope on a balance beam to suspend a disc. They will have to stack blocks spelling "IMMUNITY" on the disc, while pulling on the rope. If anybody falls off their balance beam or their block stack falls, they must start over. The first two tribes to finish their stack win.

I came to this game thinking that I was going to play all my head, and maybe I did that a little in my heart, maybe I trusted people too much. That's what got me.	”

-After Soko returned from tribal council, Ali feeling betrayed by Ryan asked Ryan why he left her out at the vote, and Ryan said she believed he was too close to Roark. Then the two get into a small argument. The argument causes Ryan to consider targeting Ali next.

-At Yawa, Mike caught a fish, dropped it into the fire, but managed to save it and he even share it with the tribe while Cole took a fish for himself which annoyed the rest of the tribe particularly Ben, and Cole continued to rub his tribemates the wrong way by arguing that he hadn't eaten enough.
-Later that day, the tribes arrived for the Reward Challenge. The castaways were instructed to acing through an obstacle course, working with a partner and a set of poles to carry a buoy over a teeter totter balance beam. Once everyone is across, the team must untie a boat and pull themselves and the boat to a platform, where they have to knock down two targets with an over-sized slingshot. The winning tribe would win 10 pizza and soft drinks, second place would get some cheese pizza while the losing tribe would get nothing. JP led Soko to victory earning them pizza and soft drinks. Yawa came in second place, earning themselves some cheeze pizza. Levu left with nothing.
-At Soko, the tribes praises JP, but Ryan talked about possibly targeting JP because he is a physical threat, and could win many challenges later on.
-At Levu tribe, they had no pizza to eat so they dined on each other, plotting who to vote off next. Devon was suspicious of Joe, and Desi would seriously consider getting rid of Joe if it came to it. Joe wanted to protect himself so he spends a lot of time looking for clues to a hidden immunity idol. He was so busy looking for it that he missed the obvious clue but eventually found it. That night while everyone was sleeping, Joe found the idol, and decided to keep it a secret
-At Yawa, Cole passed out sending Mike and Jessica to help him out, while Ben believed Cole sealed his fate.
 ===Day 16===
-The tribes arrived for the Immunity challenge. There is a large plate with five ropes attached to it. One rope is anchored and the other four are held by each member of the tribe. Players then have to make their way to the center, one by one, and stack blocks that spell “immunity.” First two tribes to finish win immunity, while losers go to tribal council where somebody would become the sixth person voted out. After multiple tries, Yawa figured it out and won immunity followed by Levu. Soko lost and had to go to tribal council. JP believed the vote was Ali. However, Ryan thought it would be better to have JP out barbecue he was a physical threat. Ali tried to make her case to Chrissy that JP needed to go. Chrissy said this was probably the last vote before the merge, so it may be a good chance to get JP off. Chrissy and Ryan talked about wanting to play the game with someone who really enjoyed it, but we weren't privy to whom that might be.
-During tribal council, Host Jeff Probst asked Ryan what was going on in camp after the last vote, and Ryan talked about Ali’s anger, but they say they’ve made up. Probst helpfully pointed out that JP should be worried with a merge coming up because he’s such a powerful player. JP agreed, but he doesn’t really say anything about anything. He does admit that he should have been more social. He is a rock. A very quiet rock. It’s terrible when the numbers get small, Chrissy says. Every person in the tribe benefits her game and hurts her game. Then the vote occurred. No hidden immunity idols were played and while JP gets one vote, Ali gets the other three. She sat there with head in hands even after Probst told her to go get her torch so he could snuff it. She finally rises, grabbed the torch and mutters “Good luck in beating him.”
