The Game Chooses for You is the seventh episode of Survivor South Africa: Island of Secrets.

Story

Day 15

The tribes are informed by Tree Mail to pack their belongings and head to their Reward Challenge. There, Nico Panagio informed them to drop their buffs. The fifteen remaining castaways would step up to a table, flip open a lid, and dip their hand into the bowl of paint under the lid to determine their new tribe. Steffi Brink opens up a bowl of water and is left without a tribe. Nico informs her that she will learn about her fate on the Island of Secrets. The tribe switch also marked the dissolution of the Laumei tribe, as the fourteen castaways sans Steffi were spread between the new Sa'ula and Ta'alo tribes.

Steffi Tribeless

Day 16

After Rocco is blindsided, Nico hands Steffi a new Ta'alo buff as she takes her place in the tribe. Nico warns the tribe that there will be ripple effects once the Sa'ula tribe sees who has been eliminated the next day.

Challenge: Spoon Man
Spread across a wire maze, each tribe member will have to navigate the maze with a ball and a paddle. Once one tribe member gets to the next tribe member, they must pass on their ball. If a ball falls off a paddle, the tribe must restart from the beginning. The first tribe to drop three balls at the chute at the end of the wire maze wins.
Reward: All the rewards won by the dissolved Laumei tribe, as well as a bag of rice.
Winner: Ta'alo

Challenge: Hot Pursuit
Tethered together in opposite sides of an oval course, tribe members will wade around while carrying a weighted sandbag. Members can drop out of the challenge at will, but they must give their sandbag to a tribemate before unclipping themselves from the rope. The first tribe to catch the opponent and touch one of their members wins.
Winner: Sa'ula

	Rocco	“	I've been very fortunate to be a part of this amazing game, it's full of twists and turns and it also gave me a lot of time to reflect. It obviously sucks being out this close to merge, because that's where I felt I could've really done some damage. But saying that, I'm also content because I'd rather be voted out being a threat than being too weak of a player, and now we know who's the Superman that Rob spoke about.	”
