The Final Four is the penultimate episode of Survivor: The Australian Outback.
Story[]
Day 37[]
On Day 37, Elisabeth Filarski is feeling lonely as the last remaining Kucha. She laments the loss of her closest friend, Rodger Bingham, whom she calls a "little treasure I happened to find in the Outback." Still, she vows to keep fighting in honor of Rodger and the other Kuchas.
The Reward Challenge is a combination of several previous challenges, and promises a great prize: a new car, a meal, and a shower. Colby Donaldson, the challenge dominator, actually ends up in a neck-and-neck race with Elisabeth and Tina Wesson, whom he barely holds off to win the reward, which he will enjoy the following day.
Day 38[]
The castaways find a scale waiting for them at Tree Mail. The four castaways weigh themselves and find that they have lost 85 pounds between them. Elisabeth comments that they have lost "a third grader". The malnutrition is taking its toll on the castaways, especially Elisabeth, whose hair is starting to fall out in clumps.
Colby leaves on his reward, driving his new car to a camp where he enjoys food with host Jeff Probst. Colby also gets a special surprise—his mother Gay has come to visit him. They exchange hugs and greetings, but privately, Gay is shocked by how frail and skinny Colby has become. Colby enjoys a good night's sleep and a hot shower.
Day 39[]
Colby returns to camp with his mother, who all give her a warm welcome and she brings the castaways care packages from their families. She departs, and Colby feels rejuvenated by having seen her.
The Immunity Challenge is a game of memory, in which players must try to match items hidden under boxes. Once again, Colby comes out victorious. That night, at Tribal Council, the tribe makes it official and eliminates Elisabeth, the last remaining Kucha. Elisabeth explains in her final words that "They didn't want me to get into the Final Two, because I would have kicked some major butt." Only three castaways remain.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Survivor Pentathlon
The castaways must race through a multi-stage course comprising several key elements from past challenges, including being blindfolded and shackled, walking on a beam, solving a puzzle, and starting a fire. The first to finish the whole course would win the challenge.
Reward: A meal and a car (a Pontiac Aztek) to sleep in overnight.
Winner: Colby Donaldson
Challenge: Memory
This challenge requires memory rather than physical strength. Thirty-six covers have been placed over 18 matching pairs of items from the Outback. Each castaway must uncover two baskets, revealing their hidden items. The object: match the items and win a point. The person who matches the most items wins immunity.
Winner: Colby Donaldson

Keith |
“ | (voting for Elisabeth) I've said it before, I'll say it again. I think you're an absolutely wonderful person, and someday I would love my daughter to spend a day with you, 'cause I think she can learn a great deal from you. Good luck to you, Elisabeth. | ” |
Tina |
“ | (voting for Elisabeth) Elisabeth, this is strictly a strategic vote. None of us want to have to come against you in the finals, because you are America's sweetheart, loved and adored by all, especially me. It's just a game. I love you. | ” |
Colby |
“ | (voting for Elisabeth) Elisabeth, you know how I feel about you. And plain and simply, I don't think there's a way in the world I could win a million bucks if you were sitting next to me in the Final Two, and that is the only reason that I'm writing your name down tonight. | ” |
Elisabeth |
“ | (voting for Keith) Well, even though you've calmed down your cockiness a bit, 'cause I think we've all felt a little more vulnerable lately, you're still my vote. Nothing personal today. | ” |
Final Words[]
Elisabeth |
“ | My part of the game is over. It's been the most trying experience of my life, filled with the most highs and lows in a short period of time that I could have ever imagined. I know that they just didn't want me to get into the Final Two because I would have kicked some major butt in that situation. | ” |
