The Devils We Know is the fifth episode of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng.
Story[]
Day 12[]
On Day 12, To Tang was disbanded, and each castaway chose one covered buff on a tray, containing a buff which would indicate their new tribe. After picking an odd-colored buff, Julia Sokolowski was exiled to the former To Tang camp where she would stay until the next Reward Challenge and would join the tribe that lost the next Immunity Challenge. The new tribes are as follows:

Immunity Challenge: New School
Two tribe members would swim out and untie a net with fish puzzle pieces. After taking the net back to the shore, two other tribe members would untie the puzzle pieces from the net and hang them on hooks. They would then carry the log with the hooks to a puzzle station, where the last two tribe members would use the puzzle pieces to complete a puzzle. The first tribe to complete their puzzle wins immunity.

- This episode marks the first time that a tribe switch has occurred with an odd number of players since the episode "It Was Like Christmas Morning!" from Survivor: Gabon. Jeff Probst explained that the switch was supposed to happen when there were still fourteen players remaining, but fell through due to Caleb's evacuation.[2]
- This is the first episode with an exile since "Exile Island" to not contain any advantage for the exiled player to find.
