In Philippines, Tevin stood out as the leader of the Mindanao majority alliance and held tight bonds with PK Phetoe and Toni Tebbutt. However, after Toni and Josie Eveleigh joined the Mindanao tribe following a tribe swap on Night 16, PK realized that his game was being held back by Tevin's vice grip. With this epiphany, he successfully orchestrated Tevin's blindside with the help of Josie and Toni.
Tevin's brief stint in Return of the Outcasts followed a trajectory similar to his first outing as he soared to the top of the Yontau hierarchy before being toppled by his own allies, leaving the game in 17th place with an idol in his pocket.

Tevin is a Survivor boffin who has watched every season of every franchise – sometimes watching individual seasons up to 15 times! This doctor, whose interests lie in the fields of neuroscience, behavioural science and physical cosmology, believes that Survivor is the best human social experiment on Earth. Tevin plans to do a lot of lying on the island, as he feels that the only way to play a successful social and strategic game is to have his competitors eating out of the palm of his hand. A hero to the tribe and a villain to the viewers, Tevin's all-time favourite player of the game is Boston Rob.[1]

Tevin Naidu qualified as a medical doctor at Stellenbosch University. He is interested in neuroscience and wants to specialise in that field. Tevin had already won the Mr India South Africa title when he was 18 and was a presenter on Eastern Mosaic.
Tevin has a Masters in Philosophy, Ethics and Mental Health and as someone passionate about the human condition, he intends to use that knowledge to play a better game.
He and his mum have watched Survivor together since he was 7 – he calls himself a Survivor Encyclopaedia. Naidu is determined to cement his place in the Survivor history books as one of the best the game has ever seen.
