Originaire de Polynésie, Téhéiura s'est installé par amour en métropole, dans l'Ain. Pour lui, Koh-Lanta, c'est un retour aux sources, et à 33 ans il veut se prouver qu'il n'a pas oublié tout ce que ses ancêtres lui ont transmis.

Le héros de Raja Ampat incarne l'aventurier par excellence. Le Polynésien va encore impressionner ses compagnons dans la survie. Il faudra également compter sur sa détermination sans faille dans les épreuves. Pour gagner le titre qui lui a échappé en finale l'année dernière, il devra probablement accorder sa confiance moins facilement. - Quels souvenirs gardez-vous de votre première participation à Koh-Lanta? Mon plus beau souvenir reste la venue de ma femme à Raja Ampat, alors même que je n'avais pas gagné l'épreuve. J'ai vécu un moment magique car être éloigné d'elle et de ma fille, tout ce temps, fut le plus difficile à surmonter. Voir mes camarades d'aventure lutter sous la pluie les 3 premiers jours n'était pas non plus évident.
- Quel a été votre plus grand regret lors de cette aventure? Et votre plus grande fierté? Je regrette de ne pas avoir pris en charge la fabrication de la cabane dès le début, car c'est un élément important de la vie sur l'île. Je ressens une certaine fierté à être le premier aventurier à représenter la Polynésie-Française. En plus, j'ai remporté l'épreuve de la pirogue, sport emblématique de mon pays. C'était un grand moment d'émotion pour moi.
- Pourquoi avoir choisi de revenir en découdre dans cette Revanche des Héros? J'ai eu la chance de vivre des moments exceptionnels lors de la saison 11 de Koh-Lanta. Quand l'occasion de renouveler l'aventure s'est présentée, je n'ai pas hésité un instant! Sans compter que, lors de ma première participation, je suis arrivé deuxième. Je prends donc La Revanche des Héros comme une seconde chance pour terminer premier!

Raja Ampat[]
Wanting to bring pride to his daughter Manavaï and his place of origin, Tahiti, Teheiura was loved by his tribemates for his challenge performances, team spirit, and survival skills. Having made it to the merge, Teheiura was selected by Martin Bazin to be the Wasaï tribe's Ambassador opposite Olivier Moenaert. The pair agreed to eliminate Maxime Boulet on the condition that any of the original Wasaï tribe members who had or would find a Hidden Immunity Necklace would have to reveal so to everyone else. However, based on advice that Martin had given Anthony Amar at the Ambassadors' Meeting, neither Patricia Morel, who already had the Wasaï Hidden Immunity Necklace, nor Teheiura, who found the Mambok Hidden Immunity Necklace soon after the merge, disclosed the relevant information.
After Olivier was "idoled out" by Patricia at the Final Ten, the remaining original Wasaï members were able to maneuver themselves to the Final Seven in spite of their minority due to conflict within the original Mambok tribe members' voting bloc. However, Martin reentered the game with a new plan at the Final Seven due to Virginie Jarry being evacuated from the game. Teheiura's game was back in jeopardy as the remaining original Mambok tribe members resumed their pagonging of the original Wasaï tribe members. After Patricia became the first casualty of this resumed pagonging and Alexandra Pouillon was eliminated at the Final Six due to Teheiura incorrectly using his Hidden Immunity Necklace on himself, Teheiura won the final individual Immunity Challenge and secured his spot in the finale. Having made it to the finale, Teheiura was taken by Gérard Urdampilleta to the Final Two instead of Laurent Maistret after Gérard won the Perch challenge. At the Final Tribal Council, both Teheiura and Gérard were well received by the jury. Ultimately, most of the jury voted based on tribal lines which resulted in Teheiura losing to Gérard in a 7-2 vote.

La Revanche des Héros[]
Assigned to the Nekmao tribe, Teheiura formed a majority alliance with Coumba Baradji, Claude Dartois, and Patrick Merle that was opposed by the minority alliance of Guénaëlle Biras, Marine Plissonneau, and Nicolas Roy. With his loyalty not wavering at the Nekmao tribe's first Tribal Council, Teheiura enabled for his allies to make the merge alongside Guénaëlle.
However, this was not immediately the case for Teheiura himself as Ambassadors Francis Bordas and Claude pit Teheiura against former Raja Ampat ally Patricia Morel in a duel believing that the former would defeat the latter. These assumptions turned out to be correct and Teheiura secured his place on the merged tribe while Patricia was eliminated. Though the original Nekmao tribe members entered the merge with a numbers disadvantage against the original Klahan tribe members, they were able to convince outsider Maud Garnier, who was bitter about Patricia's elimination, to flip to their side. With the tables now turned, the original Nekmao tribe members and Maud blindsided Francis at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council and continued to pagong the original Klahan tribe members over the next two cycles.
At the Final Eight, after failing to win the corresponding individual Immunity Challenge, Teheiura was suddenly blindsided by his original allies. Coumba and Patrick conspired with Bertrand Bolle and Moussa Niangane to make a move on Teheiura because they feared his endgame potential. Meanwhile, Claude did not object to this and cast a throwaway vote against Maud in an attempt to save face.

La Nouvelle Édition[]
Unlike their competitors, Freddy Boucher and Teheiura were exempt from participating in the first cycle and instead had to trek to a beach where they would meet Denis Brogniart and ten of the other eleven contestants. At some point during their long trek, the pair succeeded in making fire. When entering the main game, they brought with them this fire as a greeting present. Freddy and Teheiura became captains of the Simban and Tengah tribes, respectively, and got to pick their tribemates. Over the course of the tribal phase, the Tengah tribe lost all of its female members save for Florence Delbarre Reuter, but Teheiura had integrated himself well socially in his tribe, especially with the other men.
Before the merge, the Simban and Tengah tribes selected Phil Bizet and Moundir Zoughari, respectively, to visit their opposition's camp as emissaries. At the Simban tribe's camp, Moundir told Freddy that Teheiura volunteered to be the Tengah tribe's Ambassador. Meanwhile, with all of the contestants being involved in a cross-tribal alliance except for Freddy and Christina Chevry, Moundir told Martin Bazin and Philippe Duron the truth, which was that Florence had volunteered for the role instead of Teheiura, and that he lied to Freddy in order to provoke him into volunteering himself due to his ego. With Phil being filled in on Moundir's bluff on his end by the other Tengah tribe members, the plan worked and Freddy became the Simban tribe's Ambassador opposite Florence. At the Ambassadors' Meeting, Freddy and Florence failed to convince one another to turn on one of their respective allies and, after the consequential rock draw, Florence was eliminated from the game. With the merged tribe consisting of an alliance of six and outsiders Freddy and Christina, Teheiura seemed to have an easy path to the Final Six.
However, after winning the first individual Reward Challenge at the Final Seven, Teheiura chose to share the reward with Phil, which lost him the respect of many of his tribemates as he had promised Laurent Maistret beforehand that he would share it with him should he win. In consequence of this incident, Teheiura received more votes cast against him than Freddy did at the corresponding Tribal Council. Teheiura had foreseen this outcome though and played a Hidden Immunity Necklace on himself, "idoling out" Freddy as a result. The following cycle, in order to potentially scramble an alliance together, Teheiura asked his tribemates who among them had voted against Freddy at the Final Seven. Though Teheiura got the answer he was looking for, his poor social positioning didn't change and he was voted out unanimously at Tribal Council. The following day, Teheiura faced Martin in a duel to reenter the game, which he lost.
