Template:StarRatings Taking Candy from a Baby is the second episode of Survivor: Samoa.
Story
Day 4
At Foa Foa, Russell Hantz revels in his plans working thus far and Marisa Calihan's elimination at the previous night's Tribal Council. Betsy Bolan asks him if they are still going to talk and Russell H. tells her that she should have just trusted him and that "it is what it is"...
At Galu, Yasmin Giles complains about the living conditions, stating that this is harder than she thought it would be.
Back at Foa Foa, Russell H. identifies Jaison Robinson as a good player and someone he wants to go deep into the game with. Russell H. decides to start looking for a Hidden Immunity Idol at camp in case one is in play; without any clues at all, he finds it with ease. He lets Jaison know that he has it and hides it for use at a later date.
Day 5
Tree Mail arrives and indicates that the next challenge is going to be a physical one. While the tribes get done up in Samoan war paint, Mike Borassi says in a confessional that he is looking forward to the opportunity to prove himself to his tribe as a physical player.
The challenge is indeed physical—too physical at times as Ben Browning is disqualified and pulled from the challenge. Many of the castaways take some huge hits. In the end, Galu wins reward, immunity, and a twist where Galu must send one of their own to Foa Foa to observe the Tribal Council before returning to their own tribe. Yasmin is selected and host Jeff Probst calls in medical to take a look at a severely winded Mike.
Medical confirms that Mike's blood pressure is extremely low. Mike has difficulty even standing up, let alone catching his breath. Medical pulls Mike from the game and Foa Foa is now down two members with a looming date at Tribal Council.
At Galu, Shambo Waters goes fishing with the gear won at the challenge. Not only does she come back empty-handed, but also with news that she lost the mouthpiece of the snorkel as well. The rest of Galu is not impressed and Laura Morett feels that Shambo has signed her own death warrant.
Yasmin introduces herself at Foa Foa and instantly offends and disrespects the yellow tribe by offering them help because she does not want Galu to be "taking candy from a baby". Later on, she reads the clue to the whereabouts of the Hidden Immunity Idol, but does not do anything with it. She continues to imprint her bad impression by pulling Ben aside and giving him an earful about cheap shots and playing fair. Ben fires back with name-calling and the dispute pours into camp, causing discomfort for all of Foa Foa except for Russell H., who revels at the confrontation.
Ben further ostracizes himself by making lots of noise shaving flint and chopping wood while his tribe mates are trying to sleep.
Day 6
The eldest member of the tribe, Betsy feels like the target is on her and she tries to redirect attention from herself to Ben, who annoys his tribe, had the big confrontation with Yasmin, and got kicked out of the last challenge. Ashley Trainer starts to waver, but Russell H. and Liz Kim are firmly behind Betsy going home next.
Ultimately, Russell H. gets his way at Tribal Council and Betsy is unanimously voted out.
Challenges
Reward/Immunity Challenge: Schmergen Brawl
In a walled off arena, three members of each tribe would battle for control of three balls. Once a castaway gets control of a ball, they would pass the ball to three other tribe members standing on a platform who would attempt to throw the ball through the opposing tribe's basket at the other end of the arena. One point would be scored when a ball is made in the basket. After every point, the tribes would change who was in the arena and on the platform. The first tribe to score three points would win.
Reward: Fishing gear.

Betsy |
“ | (voting against Ben) Bad boy, bad boy. What you gonna do? What you gonna do when they come for you? Don't use my name if you ever get stopped in New Hampshire. | ” |
Ben |
“ | (voting against Betsy) I thought you were a good cop, but you're a bad cop, so this one's for you. | ” |
Ashley |
“ | (voting against Betsy) I tried to save you, I really did. I'm really sorry I couldn't. | ” |
Jaison |

Final Words
Betsy |
“ | Well, it took me six years to get here... I loved every minute of it. The only thing I'm not going to miss is Ben and his attitude. He needs to grow up. He's still not admitting that he did something wrong at the challenge... It's all going to blow up in their face. They made the wrong choice tonight; I just hope they kinda see that. If they don't open up their eyes, the whole tribe will go down I bet. | ” |
