Swati Goel is a contestant from Survivor 42.
Swati was initially successful on the Ika tribe, positioning herself strategically with no shortage of allies and options. However, when she overplayed her hand and Tori Meehan exposed her plan to turn on Drea Wheeler, the tribe realized the nature of Swati's duplicity, leading to her elimination at Ika's second Tribal Council visit.

Age: 19
Hometown: Palo Alto, CA
Current Residence: Palo Alto, CA
Occupation: Ivy League Student
Favorite Hobbies: Reading on the beach, theatre, and all things Survivor
3 Words to Describe You: Competent, charismatic, caring
Pet Peeves: People who have big dreams but don't work hard. People who are emotionally manipulative, or people who try to control me or tell me how to live my life.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? Getting into every college I applied to because I worked hard for that, writing and directing my own show and having a successful community response, and enlisting in the Army National Guard. I was raised to prioritize things like service to my country and the world. I'm really proud of my decision to enlist.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I'm a karate black belt. Just kidding. It's jujitsu. Just kidding. Probably nothing. I am very open and honest. I don't want my insecurities to feed into other people's so I try to be as real as possible.
Who is your hero and why? Elon Musk. My life's mission is to change the world for the better. Building something like Tesla, which is uber successful and also a boon to the environment, is my dream.
Which past Survivor will you play the game most like? A cross between Victoria Baamonde and Chaos Kass. Victoria's blindside of Aubry is one of the most underappreciated moves ever, in my opinion, but she needed to take more control of her game, like Kass.
Why do you believe you can be the Sole Survivor? Having grown up in the most competitive environment in America, I've gotten pretty good at persuading people to cheerfully act in my best interests and not theirs. Recommendation letters, winning elections, high attendance for all my events, etc. -- my entire life has been a highly successful exercise in persuasion. It sounds awful, but to some extent, I live every day the way Tony plays.[2]
Survivor[]
Entering the game as part of the Ika tribe, Swati appeared to forge an early alliance with Tori Meehan and Zach Wurtenberger. Despite this, after Swati and Zach faulted on the puzzle at the inaugural Immunity Challenge, Swati was quick to push the vote onto Zach to ensure her own safety at the first Tribal Council. Following Zach's elimination, Drea Wheeler approached Swati and Tori about forming a women's alliance, revealing her extra vote advantage to them. While Tori was receptive to the idea, Swati was concerned about Drea's growing power within the tribe and entertained the idea of voting out Drea if Ika lost again.
In an attempt to rally the votes against Drea, Swati had Tori try to recruit Rocksroy Bailey to their side. In doing so however, Tori accidentally revealed Drea's extra vote to him. Unaware of Swati's involvement in the plan, Rocksroy quickly alerted the rest of the tribe of Tori's intentions, leaving her to frustratedly distance herself from Tori for oversharing and exposing her plan to eliminate Drea.
When Ika lost immunity again on Day 9, it appeared that Tori would be voted out for her involvement in the plot against Drea. After speaking to Tori however, Drea and Romeo Escobar discovered that Swati was the originator of the plan and that she had told each of them separately that they were her "number one". Realizing that the vote had shifted to her, Swati attempted to place the blame for the failed plan onto Tori at Tribal Council, but was unsuccessful. In the end, Swati was voted out 3-1 over Tori after a failed Shot in the Dark play.
