This is the seventh episode of Survivor U.K. (2023).
Story[]
Day 16[]

Against the odds, Leilani, Matthew, and Tinuke survived the previous vote.
On La Nena, Hannah reflected on the loss of her closest ally, Ren, due to Ashleigh and Christopher flipping and voting with the three ex-Caletón members Leilani, Matthew and Tinuke. Ashleigh argued that Hannah wasn't in any danger, and that the decision to vote Ren out was purely due to mistrust with Ren only. Caletón celebrated eliminating an original La Nena member, but remembered that they were still in the minority on the tribe.

“ | Right now in camp there is seven of us. I think the three Caletón that came in are definitely sticking together, but Chris and Ashleigh want to keep us together and make sure we stay La Nena strong. I feel like only time will tell, but we're definitely not all aligned. No way. | ” |
![]() Tinuke |
“ | At the moment, original La Nena are potentially at civil war. They're flipping on each other luckily, not us Caletónians. | ” |
![]() Matthew |
“ | On the surface, yes I'm La Nena now, but you can't undo the days and days I spent at Caletón and the connections I've made. My tribe colours are blue, but my blood runs orange. | ” |

Meanwhile on Caletón, Doug and Pegleg were working hard to be seen as valuable in the tribe, especially now that Doug's immunity idol had expired the previous night. Doug began searching for cracks in the Caletón tribe with the hope of exploiting them to potentially raise his and Pegleg's spots in the pecking order. Laurence and Shai, who were on the outs of the original Caletón tribe, began considering allying with Doug and Pegleg to take out Nathan or Jess. Laurence planned to use Shai as a meat shield to help reduce his threat level later in the game. Laurence and Shai threw out the plans to both Doug and Pegleg to potentially make the move.

“ | At La Nena, I was in a fairly comfortable position. I was in the majority. Now I'm in a new tribe and I'm the bottom two. At the last Tribal Council, my immunity idol expired, so my best chance now is to search for cracks in this tribe. | ” |
![]() Laurence |
“ | I get along very well with the two new recruits. They clearly come as a package so their allegiance is to each other, but they could be excellent allies in the future. Given that Jess placed votes against Shai in the past, there are lots of arguments for voting her out, there will be repercussions, but Shai will be absorbing them, which makes him a pretty useful shield right now. | ” |
After the tribes competed in a reward challenge, which La Nena won an Indian takeaway for, Caletón cooked their rice with a crab Laurence had caught earlier.
Day 17[]
On Caletón, Doug and Pegleg were still on board with voting out Jess or Nathan, while Jess and Nathan remained ignorant to the plans going on. Nathan planned to use Jess's name as a decoy to make Doug and Pegleg feel comfortable in the tribe, to potentially prevent them from scrambling. Doug and Pegleg both revealed that they didn't fully trust Shai and Laurence, but agreed that it was their only option to stay in the game.

“ | At the moment, Shai and Laurence are essentially trying to pull myself and Peg right from underneath the noses of Nathan and Jess. I need to make sure that Jess and Nathan have no idea that this plan is in motion and that myself and Peg, as far as they are concerned, are on the bottom. | ” |
![]() Nathan |
“ | As nice and lovely as Doug and Pegleg are, if we end up back at Tribal Council, then they're going to be the first ones to go. We're proposing to use Jess as a red herring, so we can say that we're all going to place our votes on her, incase they ask. | ” |
![]() Jess |
“ | My fear is what if they all flip on me like they did to Rachel, keep Nathan in the dark because we're close, and what if I'm out? | ” |
On La Nena, Christopher began to throw out the idea of throwing the upcoming immunity challenge to eliminate Matthew or Tinuke.
![]() Christopher |
“ | I'm thinking further ahead in this game. Maybe it would be a smart move to throw the challenge and get rid of the Caletón people before it's too late. | ” |
![]() Ashleigh |
“ | Right now, Chris has only suggested this plan to me. I don't even think he's 100% on board yet, but I completely understand his logic. If we can get to Tribal Council and start picking off the old Caletónians, that definitely gives us more to work with in terms of old La Nena tribe members. | ” |

Jess, uncomfortable about her name being thrown out, tries diverting votes to Shai.
After a fairly obvious attempt to throw the immunity challenge failed, La Nena won, sending Caletón back to Tribal. Jess was extremely nervous because of her name being the decoy vote and the manner in which Rachel was blindsided a few days ago. Laurence and Shai reiterated to Jess that they were simply telling Doug and Pegleg that she was the weakest to justify her being the decoy vote.

Laurence and Nathan told Doug and Pegleg to vote Jess out, with Nathan still unaware that Jess was actually being plotted against. Jess grew more paranoid at the prospect that Doug and Pegleg may both have idols. Jess approached Doug and Pegleg to try and steer votes away from her name, targeting Shai for his difficult personality. Doug and Pegleg had now become the swing votes and pondered which of the two should be voted out, as they were both threats for the later game in different ways.
![]() Jess |
“ | I'm feeling really scared going to Tribal Council because I'm not sure the plan I'm involved in is going to work out. My fate is in the hands of my original tribe members, and that does worry me because I've never fully trusted Shai and Laurence from the beginning. | ” |
![]() Doug |
“ | Shai is super strong, but Jess is super social. It's like flipping a coin here. | ” |

Jess blindsided.
At Tribal Council, Doug and Pegleg both expressed that they now felt more solid with Caletón than they did with La Nena. Jess said this helped her fully trust the two, which Pegleg later fired back by saying he trusted no one in the tribe. Jess slowly began to feel uneasy about her safety in the game before being blindsided by Laurence and Shai in a 4-2 vote.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Chain Reaction
With their arms outstretched, the castaways must support two discs against two posts with only their fingertips. If they drop their discs, they are out of the challenge.
Reward: Indian takeaway meal
Winner: La Nena
Immunity Challenge: Cell Block Sea
Castaways must race out into the water and swim over to their respective tribe's bamboo cage. Once the entire tribe has arrived, each person must climb up and over the cage wall and jump into the water. They must then retrieve chests and bring them back to shore, where they will complete a final task. The first tribe to finish this final task would win.
Winner: La Nena

Final Words[]

“ | Shai and Laurence played the biggest game, can't bear them. They're just so sneaky, and sly, patronizing. Nathan, go win this, and the rest of you, do not let Shai and Laurence get any further in this game. | ” |
