This is the sixth episode of Survivor U.K. (2023).
Story[]
Day 14[]
Caletón, now down to six tribe members, reflected on losing Rachel, and while Jess was happy to have been spared, she was still worried about her current place in the tribe due to a lack of physical strength. She tightened her bonds with Tinuke, Nathan, and Matthew to ensure they would all be on the same page moving forward. The four created the Caletón alliance and would take out Laurence or Shai at their next opportunity.
Jess |
“ | I would say that Rachel was my closest friend in here and the person that I trusted the most, but I'll be honest, the way that the Tribal Council was going and the things that were being said, I thought it was going to be me. I've realized I've got to step up my game because now I could be next on the chopping block. | ” |
On La Nena, Christopher asked Leilani to corroborate what Laurence had told him on Day 7, that Ren had taken a smaller fish than the one she could have taken. Leilani confirmed this and speculated that Ren had a hidden immunity idol, leading Christopher to distrust Ren. Christopher began telling other members of the tribe about the discovery, including Doug, who actually had the idol.
Christopher |
“ | Ren was put forward ages ago to pick up a reward and... I felt like I needed to ask Leilani because it was bugging me. I just feel like I'm that person who needs to know what's going on. | ” |
Leilani |
“ | I think Ren has absolutely lied to the tribe. And I presume this information is going to spread like wildfire. | ” |
Both tribes received Tree Mail, which advised them to send the wisest, the most powerful, and the most trusted member of the tribe to face a "test". La Nena put forward Doug, Hannah, and Pegleg. On Caletón, the Caletón alliance strategized about the decision before showing Shai or Laurence, and they chose to send Shai, so he didn't panic or suspect the alliance, alongside Matthew and Tinuke.
Nathan |
“ | I think the trust between our squad and Laurence and Shai isn't robust enough yet where they would take at face value whatever we came back with, so it was important for one of them to go and we could sort of still continue to build trust as we progress through these next couple of days and challenges. | ” |
The sent tribe members met at a summit, where Joel informed them that they had to send two people from each group of three to the other tribe, in a second tribe switch. Tinuke, remembering that Leilani was on La Nena, elected to go to La Nena with Matthew, hoping they could work together as a trio in the game, and for when the merge came, for Leilani to join the Caletón alliance. Pegleg volunteered to swap so that him and Doug could have a chance at taking a physically strong competitor like Nathan or Shai out, while Doug elected to go to avoid the weakening social position of his ally Ren.
Matthew |
“ | I'm going to keep my alliance back in Caletón in mind, but I'm going to use an open mind to become friends with the people in La Nena, build new connections, and who knows how strong we'll be? Could be stronger. | ” |
Tinuke |
“ | This tribe swap is everythig to my game. If I can master this and thrive here and get further n the game and build relationships and alliances on both tribes, I can be in the most elite position that I did not expect to be in. | ” |
Doug |
“ | There is positives to this move. My secret alliance with Ren back at La Nena was slowly but surely unravelling, and people were becoming aware that they were in posession of a clue or an idol. I'm now away from La Nena, I'm away from the heat, so, you know, I guess that's a positive. | ” |

On Caletón, Jess and Nathan were shocked about the move, having lost two members of their alliance and losing the majority. On La Nena, Matthew and Tinuke reconnected with Leilani, who told them about Ren supposedly having an idol. The three decided to move forward together and exploit the cracks in the La Nena tribe as a means of survival.
Day 15[]
Doug, realizing that himself and Pegleg were at the bottom of the new tribe, wanted to strengthen their relationship, deciding to show Pegleg the idol. This backfired however as it only offended Pegleg for not being told earlier.
Pegleg |
“ | Bombsell drops. Doug has a hidden immunity idol. I feel disappointed and betrayed that he didn't trust me with the information, you know how much can I trust him? Is he going to flip over here? Is he going to leave me hanging out to dry? I don't know. | ” |
On La Nena, Ren now seemed to be the number one target, with her old allies and the original Caletón members repeatedly throwing them under the bus. Ashleigh, Cristopher and Lee strategized at the well, coming to an agreement that Ren couldn't be trusted and had to go next, even before the original Caletón members.
Ashleigh |
“ | I'm a little frustrated that because Ren has been playing such a strong game, I can't align with the girls and Ren in the way that I originally wanted to, I just don't trust what they are doing and I can't predict their next move. I would just feel a lot safer if they were not here. | ” |
At a strength-based Immunity Challenge, La Nena lost, and medics had to be called in for Christopher and Jess. At La Nena, Tinuke told Christopher and the tribe about how Laurence was offered the clue to an idol with the smaller fish at The Outpost, increasing their skepticism of Ren. This caused Ashleigh and Christopher to launch a plan against Ren. Since Hannah was a close ally to Ren, Ashleigh fed her the decoy name of Leilani to them both. Ren and Hannah started a campaign to take out Ashleigh, who neither of them felt was trustworthy.
Hannah |
“ | Ashleigh, shes obviously original La Nena, even though I like her I just don't trust her and I've never trusted her since the start of this game and that feeling has just never gone and I feel like I know myself when I don't trust someone. | ” |
Each side sought the help of the original Caleton members, Leilani, Matthew, and Tinuke, who had successfully become the swing votes in the tribe. In the end, the La Nena tribe found Ren to be an easy and untrustworthy target for their strategic knowledge, and they were voted out 5-2-1, with Lee strangely out of both plans.
Challenges[]
Immunity Challenge: Pole Axed
Three tribe members (two men and one woman) will place a pole on their shoulder while their tribemates add weights, 5kg (22lb) at a time, to the pole of any member of their opponents' choosing. The last person still holding on wins the challenge for their tribe.
Winner: Caletón

Voting Confessionals[]
Hannah |
“ | (voting against Ashleigh) There's just something I can't shake, and so hopefully tonight's the night. | ” |
Christopher |
“ | (voting against Ren) I'm voting for you because you seem to be playing this game too obvious, and I don't think anyone trusts you. | ” |
Final Words[]
Ren |
“ | I'm obviously sad that I no longer get to play Survivor, but I wanted to be blindsided because people saw me as a threat. And that's the way I went. Doug did walk off as my closest ally, or one of, with an idol, and left me with three people on La Nena who didn't really want to work with me, and Hannah. So, I really hope Hannah has a good rest of the game, because she might have an uphill battle following my departure. I hope La Nena have a great game, and I hope they play the game hard, and I hope to watch many a blindside on my TV at home. | ” |
