This is the fourth episode of Survivor South Africa: Philippines.
Story[]
Day 9[]
The tribes arrived for a Reward Challenge. Before the challenge begins, Nico Panagio instructs the fifteen castaways to drop their buffs and walk to one of fifteen boxes. Each box contains an egg, which they will bring back to their tribe mats and crack to reveal their new tribes. During the twist, Palesa Tau picks up an envelope and discreetly hides it before returning to the mat.
The castaways smash their eggs and discover that a tribe expansion has occurred, introducing the yellow Visayas tribe into the game.

Werner |
“ | (voting against Ace) We are brothers. I'm sorry that I have to write your name down tonight. That's how the game goes. I wish you the best. | ” |
Toni |
“ | (voting against Ace) This was a very hard decision to make, but it had to be made. Um- we need to keep our tribe strong and the chips were just not in your favor. | ” |
Jeanne |
“ | (voting against Ace) Calling your bluff tonight. I think your idols are fake, so, nice try at the end of the day. We're trying to play a game. But, ugh- we looked at it, and Josie's skills we thought were stronger than yours going into the next challenge. | ” |
Josie |
“ | (voting against Werner) This is nothing personal, I'm just not writing Ace's name down. | ” |
Ace |
“ | (voting against Werner) Sorry bud, but it's just your name I have to choose. You're just too strong strategically, physically, mentally. Ugh- you're a great guy, but right now, that's the only name I can think of that I'd like to send home. | ” |
Final Words[]
Ace |
“ | I'm pretty proud about the game I've played, and about the things I've done. Coming into the game, I thought I was prepared to be somebody I was not. If in the future there are other seasons of Survivor I can come back to, I'm all for it! | ” |
