This is the first cycle of Survivor Québec 3, covering episodes 1 to 2.
Story[]
Day 1[]
The twenty-two contestants were divided by gender and asked to elect a leader; the men chose Huggens and the women chose Danyelle. Patrice then informed the contestants that the leaders would be choosing the tribes in a Schoolyard Pick. The picks were made in the following order.

After the Reward Challenge, Ugat immediately gets to building their shelter and making a fire at camp. Angré gets stung by a fire ant. On Malaki, the tribe is more concerned about building alliances than building their shelter. Félix presents himself as being a super-fan in the hope his tribe will find him useful for challenges.
Day 2[]
On Malaki, Marilou and Kevin talk strategy. Ashly and Florence want to be a duo. Élodie wants to start a women's alliance and she, Marilou, Florence, Sarah and Frédérique all agree to it, noting that they all are closer with a different man. Marilou went to talk about this alliance to Kevin, who admits that he is onboard with voting off a man first, because it would be easy to argue for a woman to go next. Sarah and Rayane discuss who would be the first to vote out of the tribe and they agree it would be between Luc and Félix. Sarah finds a Hidden Immunity Idol and informs only Marilou, who pledges her loyalty to Sarah as her number-one ally.
On Ugat, Danyelle, Sébastien, Kathrine and André build an alliance, while Jérémie, Myriam, Geneviève and William make another alliance. On the other hand, both alliances are wary of Éric who decides to search for a Hidden Immunity Idol.
Challenges[]
Challenge: What-er Drag
One member of each tribe will have to run to attach a chain to a structure and then come back to the platform, so that four tribe members can pull a carcass of boat out of the water with a crank. They will have to take blocks of wood and put them in the boat carcass like a puzzle. Once the boat is completed, they will take oars and embark on the boat that will be launched in the water. They will recover a perch. They will then come back to the beach. The player that will have remained on the platform will use the perch to recover a key that is high. The key will be served to unlock a padlock and the first team to raise their banner win the challenge.
Reward: Rice, fruit, a pot, eggs and a flint

Challenge: Push Comes to Shove
In teams of three, tribe members will face off with their opponents by pushing a giant wood turnstile. The team which manages to push the beam over the finish line scores 1 point for their tribe. The first tribe to score 4 points wins.
