Survivor Québec 2 is the second season of Survivor Québec.

In 2025, Kassandre Bastarache was imported to play in the Australian franchise on Survivor: Australia v The World.

Production

After a successful first season, where the finale became the most viewed show in Noovo's history, it was confirmed on June 7, 2023 that another season was in the works The cast was revealed prior to filming on February 7, 2024 on social media and Noovo.

On March 4, 2024, more information was revealed about the aftershow, Survivor Québec en prolongation. Unlike the previous season, the aftershow would run for 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes, still on Sunday evenings directly after Sunday episodes. It will be hosted by Benoît Gagnon with consultant Jean-Thomas Jobin and with the help of collaborators Alex Perron, Alexandre Despatie, Geneviève Hébert-Dumont, Korine Côté and Joël Dandurand.

Twists/Changes

• Sweat: On Day 1, the tribe that lost the first Reward Challenge had to nominate two people to locate a buried chest within a time limit without a shovel. If successful, the tribe would be rewarded with basic survival tools and rice.
• Hidden Immunity Idol: A Hidden Immunity Idol was hidden at each camp. In addition, three halves were hidden before the merge, one at each camp and the third given to the person returning from Exile.
• Journey:
  • On Day 3, the tribe that won the Reward Challenge nominated someone to go on a journey. That person then picked someone from the losing tribe to join them. At the end of the journey, the path would diverge, leading both players to a slide puzzle. Success would grant them a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol, while failure would cost them their vote. While the player from the winning tribe had the option to decline, the player from the losing tribe was forced to participate.
  • On Day 8, the two tribes each nominated two people to send on a journey. The four players had to decide whom between the two tribes would receive a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol hidden at the following immunity Challenge.
• Tribe Switch:
  • Mock Vote: On Day 9, the tribe that was sent to Tribal Council would vote to send someone on the opposite tribe for one round. If they successfully survived the next tribal council, no matter if they attended tribal or not, they would return to their original tribe. Unbeknownst to the other players, the person voted to be sent on the opposite tribe would have the option to either go back to their original tribe or stay on their new tribe.
  • Tribe Switch: On Day 16, a Schoolyard Pick was conducted to determine the new tribes. Due to an uneven number of players left, the person that was left unpicked could choose which tribe to go to.
    • There was an advantage given to someone on the tribe that won the prior reward challenge that forced the user to swap two players.
• Exile: Starting with Day 13, after being voted out and departing Tribal Council, each player was given the choice to permanently leave the game or go into the unknown for a chance to re-join the game at the merge.
• Pre-merge Individual Immunity Challenge: The tribe that lost the Day 14 Immunity Challenge received a locked chest. At Tribal Council, they received a key to open the chest, revealing that the tribe members would immediately compete in an individual Immunity Challenge.
• Vote Steal: A Vote Steal advantage was hidden in one of the tribal rewards. Since it was not found, the other tribe was given the opportunity to look for it on their island before sending it back to the other tribe.
• Survivor Isolation: The winners of the Day 27 Reward Challenge must pick another duo to be sent to a small area on the camp where they live in isolation from the rest of the tribe and require their tribemates to bring them food. In addition, they must solve a cryptogram to earn the right to play in the next Immunity Challenge.
• Duel: The two players who received the most votes at the Day 32 Tribal Council would face off in a duel, with the losing player being eliminated from the game.
• Choose Your Champion: At the final seven, an advantage was introduced that allowed its finder to make a prediction as to who would win the upcoming Immunity Challenge; in the case of a correct prediction, all votes against the finder would be nullified. The guess was revealed before the votes were read.
• Simplified Final Four Tribal Council: Instead of a traditional vote, the person who won the Final Immunity Challenge got to choose one person to take with them to the Final Three. The remaining two castaways competed in a fire-making challenge for the right to reach Day 42.

Season Summary

The twenty castaways were divided into two tribes, Bayani and Nawa. While Nawa was able to build a more cohesive hierarchy, with Ghyslain, Jean-Michel and Kassandre reigning at the top, Bayani was unable to establish a majority alliance which, despite originally starting on equal footing, led to to the tribe losing more challenges during the last few rounds before the tribe switch.

After the tribes were swapped, the new Nawa tribe arose as an united tribe which, paradoxically enough, led to a stalemate between both original trios, who refused to compromise. Meanwhile, despite never attending Tribal Council, disharmony plagued the new Bayani tribe as the original Nawa members started distrusting each other. The end of the pre-merge was saw Audrey rejoining the game, having survived her time on Exile.

On the merged Dalawa tribe, the first few rounds were marked by a power struggle, with the voting groups constantly shifting based on individual priorities. Ultimately, Ghyslain and Kassandre was able to gain control of the game along with André, Déborah and Sébastien, who all felt blindsided when they conspired with Florence and Marilou to blindside Audrey at the final ten. Ghyslain and Kassandre was ultimately able to reach the end, along with André.

At Final Tribal Council, André's unaware arguments damaged his credibility with the jury, who originally respected his ability to constantly shift with whichever group held power. Meanwhile, Kassandre was unable to differentiate her game from Ghyslain, ultimately leading to the jury unanimously voting for Ghyslain over André and Kassandre.

He chose Kassandre. The remaining two castaways would compete in a fire-making challenge to determine the last finalist.
