Reward Challenge: Slip, Slide & Score
A member from each tribe would slide across a slippery surface and grab a ball with a certain color and number suspended above them. They would have to toss it into a basket to score a point. The first tribe to score five points would win.
Reward: The day after the challenge, the winning tribe would receive a plate of food as well as the right to raid the losing tribe and steal up to three items.
Additional Stipulation: The reward remained a mystery until the day after the challenge.
Winner: Tiyaga (sent Jean-Junior Morin and Sango Bien-Aimé to raid Kalooban)
Reward/Immunity Challenge: Shoulder the Load
One man and one woman from each tribe will have a pole across their shoulders. Each round, weights will be added to that pole in 20lb increments. The decision about which tribe member gets the weight will be made by the other tribe. When the weight becomes too much to bear, the tribe member will drop the pole and be out of the challenge. The last person left standing wins for their tribe.
Reward: The right to send two people to attend the losing tribe's Tribal Council as observers. Those two people would also each enjoy a hamburger, fries, and a soft drink.
Winner: Kalooban (sent Karine Lavigne-Fortin and Pierre-Alexandre Guillot to observe Tiyaga's Tribal Council)

Final Words[]
Johannie |
J'ai vraiment hâte d'aller retrouver mes enfants. I feel liberated despite everything. I've been waiting for this moment, I'll tell you it's been two days, and now I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I think my heart wasn't in it anymore. It's not survival that was difficult for me, it's really the game. That, I'm proud of on my end and I'm proud of what I accomplished. There's no one with whom I didn't click, but it's for sure that the guys all had strong heads. They talk very loudly, the girls dare not say anything in front of them. So that, I found difficult. When a woman speaks, it is emotional. When a man talks, he's intelligent. It comes heavy at some point to be the only one thinking this. Ultimately, I just avoided conflict. Yes, I'm super proud to represent Acadia in this story, to have been able to show my fishing skills, to have taught that to the gang. I'm leaving, I taught them things, I'm very happy with that. And to represent the Francophonie outside Quebec, because there are some and French persists in Acadia. I didn't decide to give Joël the clue before leaving. Joël, he already has the Immunity Idol; it was a play to get the other players to work with him. Me, I don't think that's what I would have done as a move, but it was his decision. But Joël thinks that there are people who will… He will trust them and he will give the clue to them. It might help him in the game, I don't know. We'll see, I can't wait to see. I can't wait to get back to my kids. I have a handsome 16-year-old who has been watching Survivor for 3-4 years. I know he's going to be very proud of Mom and I know he's going to accept what I've done. And my little girl, I'm sure she misses me every day, she's mommy's little girl. I'm looking forward to seeing you. |
