Day 9[]
Both tribes were tasked with selecting an ambassador to attend a summit. Kalooban decided upon Denis Potapov and Tiyaga decided upon Marika Guay. Denis and Marika had to decide which of them would go back to camp with beans and spices and which of them would go back to camp with a clue to the latter's camp's Hidden Immunity Idol. They agreed that Denis would go back to camp with the clue while Marika would go back to camp with the beans and spices.
Karine Lavigne-Fortin found the Hidden Immunity Idol at the Kalooban tribe's camp.

Reward Challenge: Brain Food
The castaways would play a variation of Concentration with fourteen pairs of survival items and four unpaired items hidden under covers. One at a time, castaways would uncover two items. If the items matched, they would score a point for their tribe; however, the tribe is given the option of forfeiting the point and taking the uncovered items. The first tribe to score five points wins.
Reward: Brownies, coffee, cookies, donuts, and fresh fruits.
Winner: Tiyaga (neither tribe opted to forfeit points for items)
Immunity Challenge: Mazed and Confused
Standing in a line, one player will use a bucket to retrieve water from the ocean. They will toss the water to their next tribemate, who will repeat this until the water reaches the last tribemate, who will then walk up a balance beam and pour the remaining water into a bucket. Once that last bucket is full, it will release a ball. Two players will put the ball in the center of a spinning vertical maze, and use two ropes to rotate the maze until the ball drops out of the maze. The first tribe to finish wins.

“ | Hum, c'est fini! Bien, je suis contente de mon aventure Survivor. C'est sûr que j'aurais aimé ça aller plus loin dans le jeu. Malheureusement, je ne peux pas avoir de reprise pour faire différemment, mais au moins, je repars fière d'avoir été dans la première édition de Survivor Québec. Quand je suis arrivée au conseil ce soir, oui, j'avais un grand feeling que c'est moi qui partais. Je savais que le move que j'apprêtais à faire était hyper, hyper risqué. Je voulais enlever le target de Joël, moi et Johannie. Puis ma meilleure cible, c'était Sango parce qu'il avait fait quelques erreurs de parcours. Donc je pensais être capable de capitaliser là-dessus. Mais malheureusement, mon plan a échoué. Moi pis Sango, bien, c'est réglé. J'ai bien aimé comment ça s'est terminé durant le conseil, quand il m'a dit qu'il trouvait que j'étais une femme forte. Quand on te dit que t'es une menace dans Survivor, bien, c'est une qualité parce que ça prouve que t'es un bon joueur puis les gens ont peur de ton jeu et tes stratégies. Les leaders forts dans la tribu, là, je vois JJ puis je vois Christopher, puis c'est deux inséparables. Donc, c'est sûr qu'ils vont prendre des décisions ensemble, mais Joël va faire son bout de chemin là-dedans parce qu'il connaît le jeu puis il a aussi une force de caractère. Ah, je suis vraiment fière. Je ne peux pas croire qu'il y a moins de 10 ans, je ne voulais plus aller à mon campagne parce qu'il était infesté de souris et que là, j'ai dormi à terre dans la jungle où j'ai vu des mille pattes vénémeux, des serpents, des lézards, des rats et j'ai été capable de dormir sous mes deux oreilles sans paniquer. Alors, je suis une femme transformée. Hmm, it's over! Well, I'm happy with my Survivor adventure. Of course, I would have liked to go further in the game. Unfortunately, I can't have a retry to do it differently, but at least I'm leaving proud to have been in the first edition of Survivor Québec. When I came to Tribal Council tonight, yes, I had a great feeling that I was leaving. I knew the move I was about to make was hyper, hyper risky. I wanted to remove the target off of Joël, me, and Johannie. And my best target was Sango because he had made a few mistakes along the way. So I thought I could capitalize on that. But unfortunately, my plan failed. Me and Sango, well, it's settled. I liked how it ended during Tribal Council, when he told me he thought I was a strong woman. When you are told that you are a threat in Survivor, well, it is a quality because it proves that you are a good player and people are afraid of your game and your strategies. The strong leaders in the tribe, there, I see JJ then I see Christopher, those two are inseparable. So, of course, they will make decisions together, but Joël will make his way forward because he knows the game and he also has a strength of character. Oh, I'm really proud. I can't believe that less than 10 years ago I didn't want to go to my countryside anymore because it was infested with mice and there I slept on the ground in the jungle where I saw poisonous centipedes, snakes, lizards, rats and I was able to sleep with my eyes shut without panicking. So, I am a transformed woman. |
