This is the fifth episode of Survivor New Zealand: Thailand.

Story

Day 13

A Tribe Switch occurred. Each contestant is asked to smash paint-filled eggs onto themselves to reveal the colour of their new tribe.

The Reward Challenge commences, Tess and Eve are on the spinning platforms for Khangkhaw while Matt and Renee are on the platforms for Chani. As Liam and Dave pull the ropes, Tess' pole dislodges from the platform and she takes a hard fall. The medics are called and she's fine to continue, but sits out of the rest of the challenge due to mild concussion.

Eve left her Hidden Immunity Idol back at the Chani camp, and is called over by host Matt to have the Idol returned to her. She intends to use it to help the former Chani members as they hold a 3-4 minority in the new Khangkhaw tribe.

Day 15

After Khangkhaw lose the Immunity Challenge, the original members set their sights on taking out one of the former Chani members. Eve, JT and Liam get wind that either Eve or Liam is the target as the original Khangkhaw believe that JT has an Idol, so they try to figure out which one to play it on.

At Tribal Council, Eve plays the Idol on herself, but her efforts were all in vain as the original Khangkhaw members voted for Liam instead, sending him home.

Final Words

	Liam	“	Somebody hit the go and there wasn't enough people so no hard feelings. I wouldn't change a second about how I played the game. I played exactly how I wanted to play it, how I wanted to be honest. I didn't want to throw my friends under the bus. I think Brad is the man, but running everything in Khangkhaw. He's definitely pulling the strings early.	”
