This is the twelfth episode of Survivor New Zealand: Thailand.
Story[]
Day 32[]
Matt and his alliance decide to vote out Tess next, as she's on the outs and can't be fully trusted. Her closest remaining ally Adam is not happy about this, but decides to vote with the numbers in an attempt to stay in the game as long as possible.
The first Survivor Auction in the New Zealand series takes place. Dave wins a mystery advantage. All the other items being bid on are food items.
Day 33[]
After the contestants arrive at the Immunity Challenge, Dave is instructed to read his advantage. It's revealed to be a challenge advantage that allows Dave to start when everyone has placed their fourth plate. The advantage turns out to be a blessing as it helps Dave win his first individual immunity.
Lisa attempts to make her move on Matt by taking Dave aside and informing him of the Hidden Immunity Idol that they found. Once he is alone with Matt, Dave questions him whether or not he's been completely honest with him, and Matt eventually confesses about the Idol. Dave then informs Matt that he is in trouble.
At Tribal Council, Matt doesn't play his Idol, Dave flips on his old friend, and Matt is blindsided in a 3-2-1 vote becoming the fifth member of the jury.

Challenge: Survivor Auction
The castaways are each given $500 to bid on items, ranging from food, advantages, and love from home. Bidding will be in $50 increments. Food and/or money cannot be shared. The auction will end without notice.
