This is the tenth episode of Survivor New Zealand: Thailand.
Story[]
Night 26[]
Renee and Tess are in total shock after Brad's blindside. Tess has just lost her closest ally and feels like she went from the top of an alliance to being on the bottom in a matter of seconds.
Day 27[]
The following morning, Tara approaches Tess and tells her that any Khangkhaw alliance in camp is dead. Matt sees this as a good thing for his game as infighting between the rest of the tribe may keep the radar off him. He tells Renee and Tess that he had to take out Brad because he was making final three deals and had to protect himself.
At the Jurassic World screening, Dave, Lisa, Matt and Tess get a surprise which are videos from loved ones. Lisa confesses that after seeing her loved ones video, she remembered why she was in the game (for her family) and realises that Matt is the number one threat and that she needs to take him out. However, she also states that the final eight is not a good time to do so.
Day 29[]
At Tribal Council, Renee reveals that the reason she's been throwing votes at Dave was in retaliation for supposedly voting against her in Episode 6. Arun in the jury box is visibly laughing at her while a confused Dave and Matt explain that Josh was the one who voted for her. Renee refuses to believe them and accuses Matt of pulling the strings. In the end, Renee is voted out 5-3 and becomes the third member of the jury.

Voting Confessionals[]
Full uncut voting confessionals were available as bonus material on TVNZ's website.
Tara |
“ | (voting against Renee) Sorry Renee, I think you're a cool chick, but majority rules. | ” |
Matt |
“ | (voting against Renee) You're one of the biggest hustlers in the game, I truly believe if you'd stuck around you could've won. | ” |
Renee |
“ | (voting against Dave) I'll keep writing your name down until I go. | ” |
Adam |
“ | (voting against Dave) I hope Renee managed to sway some votes. | ” |
Dave |
“ | (voting against Renee) I told Josh not to write your name down, because I knew I had the idol the whole time. Your story doesn't make any sense. | ” |
Lisa |
“ | (voting against Renee) Renee, I am voting you out because you're a big threat, but also, no-one tells me how to vote and hopefully you'll see that at the end when you give me your vote when I'm at the final three. | ” |
Eve |
“ | (voting against Renee) I wish we'd talked earlier, because it sounds like your version of events is quite different. Sorry. | ” |
Tess |
“ | (voting against Dave) Dave, I'm Team Renee all the way. | ” |
Final Words[]
Renee |
“ | I am glad to have gone out fighting, at least I did get to preach my case although I knew no-one was listening. If I could change anything about how I played this game, I probably would've tried to get Dave out a lot sooner! I'm pretty sure that's why I'm gone, he's a great hustler and I just should've seen it coming. I did try but I obviously didn't try hard enough. | ” |
