This is the season finale of Survivor New Zealand: Nicaragua.

Story

Day 39

The final three arrive for their Final Tribal Council and make their openings statements to the jury.

Tom in his statement explains how he wanted to play with honesty and to push himself in the game.

Avi in his statement explains how he played with honesty and integrity and made genuine connections with people.

Barb in her statement says that she got where she did because she's a superior player than those in the jury.

Barb is heavily criticized by the jury for her poor social game and lack of help in camp. Conversely, both Avi and Tom are praised for the respective games they played.

At the Reunion Show in Auckland, Avi wins Survivor New Zealand: Nicaragua and becomes New Zealand's first Sole Survivor.
