Survivor Roots is a recurring challenge from Survivor.

Rules

The tribes must answer questions about previous seasons. First tribe to answer ten questions correctly wins.

History

In Survivor: All-Stars, it was the first challenge after the tribe swap. With the scores tied at 10-10, the castaways were asked a tiebreaker question, where they have to list the first castaways voted out in the first seven seasons. The new Chapera only answered wrong the first boot of Pearl Islands while the new Mogo Mogo got all the answers right, winning immunity.

In Micronesia, the challenge was for reward, when the first person to answer four questions correctly will win. Erik answered  "in which season a castaway asked for another castaway to pee in his hands after being stung by a sea urchin", correctly,  winning the challenge.

Trivia

• This challenge has only appeared in Seasons featuring returning players.
• Each time this challenge was used, the eventual 5th place finisher won.
• Only people on a green tribe have won this challenge.
