Supervivientes: Expedición Robinson 2001 is the second season of the Spanish reality television series Supervivientes. It was broadcast on Telecinco, premiering on September 16, 2001 and ending on December 20, 2000. This season was filmed in the Seychelles. The prize for the winner was 20,000,000 pesetas - equivalent to roughly US$175,000 in 2023.

Freddy Cortina defeated Antonio Amate in a 6-1 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor. In addition, the public voted for their favorite castaway from the course of the season. Andrés Sanz won, earning 37% of public votes, and won 3,000,000 pesetas - about US$25,000.

Twists

• Tribe Switch: In Episode 5, a castaway from each tribe was switched to the other tribe. As part of this twist, neither could be voted out before the merge.
• Black Vote: At the final ten and final four, the previously eliminated castaway cast a vote during Tribal Council.
• Rule-Breaking Penalty: Following the merged tribe's acceptance of food from a native in Episode 8, it was decided that no castaway would be immune at the eighth Tribal Council.
• Semi-Final: At the final three, two challenges occurred, with the winner of each challenge advancing to the Final Two.

Trivia

• This series was the first to be filmed for Telecinco, the 2000 series having been filmed for TVE and broadcast by Telecinco. The general feeling that the first series was too much like the Swedish format and too rigid for Spanish audiences made the 2001 show have more opportunities for conflict.
