Suomen Robinson 2004 is the first season of the Finnish version of Survivor.

After surviving in Malaysia for 47 days, entrepreneur Marjaana Valkeinen defeated AD Johanna Ullakko in a 5-3 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Production

Applications were due on April 30, 2003. The season was filmed off the East Coast of Malaysia between June to August 2003. Finnish actor Jarmo Mäkinen was selected to be the host. 71 episodes aired from January 25 to May 2, 2004. The prize for the winner was €40,000.

Format

• Tribe Composition: The sixteen castaways were divided into two tribes of eight.
• Merge: The merged tribe was comprised of ten members.
• Final Tribal Council Format: Two finalists faced a jury comrpsied of eight members.
