Castaways must race over a series of obstacles, either on land or in the water, to reach a star-shaped puzzle. The first castaway to solve their star-shaped puzzle wins.
History[]
The challenge debuted in Edge of Extinction, where it was used as an individual Immunity Challenge. The castaways first had to race over a series of frames, while holding a buoy. They then had to maneuver a second buoy through a rope tunnel, before untying a third buoy and crawling under a net. They then had to use the keys attached to a buoys to unlock their puzzle pieces. Aurora McCreary and Rick Devens were the first to reach their puzzle, with Rick edging out Aurora to win immunity.
In Survivor 41, the challenge was used as an individual Reward Challenge in combination with the mechanics of Rope A Dope. Starting from a platform out in the ocean, the castaways would traverse a series of obstacles, maneuvering their rope along with them, to get back to shore and to their puzzle. Although everyone reached the puzzle stage, only Deshawn Radden and Ricard Foyé made any progress, with Ricard finishing his puzzle first to win reward.
In Survivor 44, the challenge was used in tandem with Slither Me Timbers as the final eight Immunity Challenge. Although Danny Massa was the first person to reach the puzzle, he was stumped, allowing Carson Garrett to surge ahead to win his first individual challenge.
