The Spa Alliance is the dominant alliance on the merged Kululama tribe in Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.
Distinguished as the first successful cross-tribal alliance in Survivor South Africa, it was composed of the female members of Kululama remaining at the final eight, who bonded over a fateful spa reward and agreed to knock out all the remaining men on their march to the finish. The women are also notable for their strategy of using the past votes tiebreaker to eliminate their targets without rousing suspicion from their original male allies, until it was too late for the men to mount a counterplan.

Girl Power[]
On Day 18, the Kululama tribe competed in The Knife Quiz for a reward. Sade won the challenge and a spa retreat. Given the opportunity to share the reward with one tribemate, Sade picked Ashley on the hope of forming a strategic relationship with her, seeing as she held a strong position in the majority Timbira Alliance. In a twist, Nico Panagio gave the first person eliminated from the quiz, Gys de Villiers, the right to add one of his tribemates to the reward. Reasoning that GiGi stood the most to benefit from a spa day, he sent her with the two women, oblivious to the strategic opportunity he opened for them.
While enjoying their reward, Ashley propositioned an alliance to GiGi and Sade. The deal would allow them to continue remaining loyal to their respective alliances, but once all the men in the Chibudu Alliance were gone, the women would pivot to eliminating the remaining Timbila men so as to take up all the seats on the final three. Seeking to improve their dismal position in the tribe minority, GiGi and Sade were happy to comply with Ashley's plan, where they would knowingly cast throwaway votes against their male tribemates so as to leave them exposed in a tiebreaker scenario, given that the season's tiebreaker relied on whoever had more past votes. The plan proceeded to fruition as Ashley rallied her Timbila allies against Okkert Brits and Gys, before looping in her ally Kaseran Pillay to split the votes and cause a 2-2-2 tie to blindside Izak Davel at the final six. During this time, Ashley also formed a pact with GiGi to take each other to the Final Two, ostensibly leaving Sade on the outside of the Spa Alliance.
Taking Out Kaseran[]
At the final five, Ashley faced a moral dilemma between continuing with the women, or sticking to her original alliance with Kaseran and ProVerb Thekisho. Torn, Ashley sobered up to the reality of the game and decided that Kaseran had become too much of a jury threat after he sacrificed his family visit for the good of his tribemates. After Kaseran lost the Immunity Challenge, Ashley made good on her honesty pact to Kaseran and told him his impending fate. An enraged Kaseran tried desperately to hunt for the Hidden Immunity Idol, not knowing that Ashley had already pre-empted this and successfully searched for it for the sole purpose of depriving him of the lifeline. At Tribal Council, Ashley sealed Kaseran's fate and joined the women in voting him out, 3-2.
Taking Out Sade[]
Ashley continued her winning streak at the final four Immunity Challenge, but felt unease at the fact that Sade nearly defeated her in the challenge. GiGi agreed that it made sense to eliminate Sade before the Final Immunity Challenge. At Tribal Council, ProVerb was spared his elimination when he joined Ashley and GiGi in voting Sade out. However, when Ashley won the Final Immunity Challenge, she decided that it would be in her interest for the jury to "compare apples with apples". On this basis, she stuck to her Final Two pact with GiGi and voted ProVerb out, hoping to improve her prospects at Final Tribal Council.
GiGi Wins[]
At Final Tribal Council, Ashley drew severe censure for her conniving gameplay, in particular from her tightest allies from Timbila Louw Venter and Kaseran Pillay, despite putting forth the case that she played the game she did in the name of winning for her charity. Meanwhile, the jury bantered casually with GiGi, expressing their pride for her progress in the game. The Chibudus backed their former tribemate and gave her their jury votes, while Kaseran and Louw did the same and helped GiGi to win in a 6-3 vote (with Ashley receiving votes from Izak, ProVerb, and the public vote).
