Sophie was selected by Bruno Troester to be a part of the Sambor tribe. The oldest woman of her tribe, Sophie found herself on thin ice quickly thanks to her constantly giving disagreeable opinions regarding camp chores and her obsessing over the portioning of the tribe's rice. Additionally, Sophie was one of the Sambor tribe's weakest links in challenges. At the Sambor tribe's first Tribal Council, Sophie was spared due to performing exceptionally well at the corresponding Immunity Challenge and Myriam Zenasni was voted out unanimously instead. In spite of being warned by Benoît Assadi to be aware of her perception, Sophie failed to make much improvement on her negative attitude and she was voted out near-unanimously at the Sambor tribe's next Tribal Council.
