Slip Through Your Fingers is the season finale of Survivor: Thailand.

Story

Day 36

Day 37

Day 38

Day 39

Challenges

Challenge: Try Again
The Survivors would compete in an obstacle course that used elements of past Challenges. First, they would have to dig deep into the sand to retrieve a wicker ball and race over a bamboo balance beam. Next, they would have to push the wicker ball through a fishnet and place the ball on a pedestal. The next stage consisted of solving a puzzle, which would release a knife. They were then to take the knife and cut a rope that released a bag of material that would help them negotiate their next task of retrieving a key from inside a jail cell. The final stage was a surprise Thai delicacy, and the first person to consume it would win Immunity, thus ensuring themselves a spot in the Final Three.

Voting Confessionals

(voting for Helen) Cause and effect. You caused this effect.

Brian Heidik

(voting for Helen) You got busted, uh, talking on both sides of the fence. You're a hell of a cook and I'll miss you, but I will kiss the cook later in life. Good bye.

Clay Jordan

Final Words

Wow, that was a shock, um, especially since I asked, uh, Brian directly if I should plan on coming back tonight, and I was given an emphatic yes. So, I guess of the three knives in my back right now, uh, that's the one that smarts the most. So, uh, the three of you that are left, break a leg, and I mean it.

Voting Confessionals

Brian's vote was not shown to the camera during his voting confessional.

(voting for Jan) You've come a long way, a long, long way. Congratulations. It's been my pleasure.

Brian Heidik

Final Words

My experience on Survivor has just been totally surreal. I didn't know I could ever be here 38 days in a bat cave with rats and snakes. If there's one thing I've learned is don't listen to the word "you can't do something," don't quit. I'm a teacher-- I don't want any of my students to ever quit anything.

Voting Confessionals

(voting for Clay) I'm actually voting for Clay tonight. I'm basing my vote on honesty, and Clay, I feel that you have been honest to everyone. On the other hand, I do not feel Brian has. Good luck.

Erin Collins

(voting for Brian) You know, this would have been a very, very easy decision. You messed up, Brian. You messed up. You assumed that what we were writing in the sand was a scheme against you. It wasn't. It was a scheme against Clay, not you. You need to check yourself. I know that there are people out there that remain committed to their word. My word was my bond, and it's pitiful that you didn't know that. But that you are the lesser of the two evils.

Ted Rogers, Jr.

(voting for Clay) I think that, uh, of the two that are left, um, that Clay really took the time to get to know me as a person in the twelve days I had with them, and Brian never did.

Penny Ramsey

(voting for Brian) Brian, what happened between you and I happened between you and I, but in the context of the game, I'm a bigger person and can look beyond what happened to me. You deserve to win. You had a work ethic that was great the entire time out here. Several of the team challenges, you almost singlehandedly won on your own, so for that and your work ethic, you get my vote tonight. Good luck. Hope you win.

Final Results

Reunion

  • Ted Rogers, Jr. revealed that the basis of his jury question to Clay Jordan was that Helen Glover said that Clay was making racial slurs behind his back.
  • Jeff Probst asked Ted, Helen, and Jan Gentry on why they didn't turn on Brian Heidik or Clay.
  • The incident between Ted and Ghandia Johnson was discussed along with how it impacted their respective spouses.
  • Robb Zbacnik talked about his Survivor experience and how it was like a coming-of-age story. He also expressed embarrassment about his immaturity being shown on national televison.
  • Stephanie Dill's audition tape, in which she appears nude, was shown. Jeff Probst expresses disappointment with her performance on the show because he had expected her to be a more interesting contestant because of her audition tape.
  • Jeff talked to Erin Collins about being the stereotypical "Hot Chick" and how she had to overcome the stereotype.
  • Jeff said that Jed Hildebrand appeared to be one of the strongest castaways on paper, but he ended up an instant outcast. Jed said that he didn't really fly under the radar well. Shii Ann Huang also confirmed that Sook Jai threw the third Immunity Challenge specifically to vote Jed off the tribe.
