Shannon Rose Fairweather is a contestant from Survivor 49.

Unabashedly spiritual, Shannon used her charm to secure herself a spot in the majority on the Uli tribe, but also attracted the ire of Sage Ahrens-Nichols, with whom she spent the entirety of her game. After a second tribe switch, Shannon attempted to turn on original Uli member Jawan Pitts, giving Sage the ammunition necessary to arrange her ouster, blindsiding Shannon just short of the merge.

Why do you want to be part of Survivor?: Been watching since I was 8, watch with my whole family & boyfriend, I love me a good adventure & challenges. I think it's a really beautiful "pressure cooker" of a life experience, heightening everything about life & therefore yourself. It's really special & I am grateful for the opportunity. I also believe I have some unique perspectives on life I would love to share. Life is beautiful, hard, expansive & so is Survivor… I am stoked.
What's one life experience you feel has prepared you for the game?: My yoga/meditation experience, the depth & understanding I have with my faith, present moment awareness. Growing with entrepreneurial parents / starting & running my own businesses. Lots of travel, getting out of my comfort zone. Being from Boston, growing up with Patriot dynasty.
Which previous player do you identify with the most? Who do you think you will play most like?: Yam Yam - social, compassionate, fun, keeps it light! Boston Rob - swag, confidence, determination, Boston grit, strategic, GOAT. Maryanne - authenticity, a little emotional. Parvati - badass, strong, hot.
What will you value in an alliance partner? A kind heart, loyalty, communication. Someone who is driven & centered but also fun!!! Let's laugh & hug! Emotional awareness / maturity. Compassion, connection to God / universe, cares about others, genuine.
Favorite hobbies: I run a virtual women's community & host yoga & meditation events (Called HerVibes), Running HerVibe events with like minded women, laughing, crying, traveling, being in nature with friends & family, listening to BANGERS (great tunes) with the windows down in the car, yoga, giving great hugs, talking cool ideas & deep topics about life, being in the present moment, going on Survivor, Bruins games with my brothers, I love Disney World & a good sunset. Doing anything with my boyfriend.
Pet Peeves: My pet peeves are when I have pet peeves, I am working on loving myself & others for who they are… unconditionally. BUT snoring, negativity & being able to hear muffled TV when trying to sleep has been known to annoy me… working on it.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? My family owns a 4 floor sports bar in Boston (that Boston Rob worked at). When I was 17, doctors found cancer in my bladder (did not have to do chemo). I used to be on antidepressants before I found my love for travel, meditation & God. I remember being in the womb. Virgo sun, Libra moon, Gemini rising LOL.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why? God, universe, great spirit, mother nature - the divine is why I am here, magic is real & I am constantly inspired by life & the human experience. My parents: from keeping a 4 floor sports bar alive through Covid to showing my brothers & I the meaning of love, support, loyalty, family... my parents are real life superheroes, always gave/give us everything & then some… even when they did not have much money to their name. My mom is the embodiment of a divine mother & my dad is a rock star and the best dad I know.
Why will you be the Sole Survivor? I will be the Sole Survivor because of who I am. I make the most out of everything I do & I know how to manifest a dream into reality. I am incredibly determined. Beyond winning I am also here to be authentic — to love others, serve others, & remember God. I know my heart is in a really beautiful place & that ability to genuinely connect & care about others will resonate with my castmates. I really love people & this game.^[2]
