Selviytyjät Suomi 9 is the ninth season of Selviytyjät Suomi and the eleventh season of the Finnish version of Survivor.

After 37 days, Mia Haataja defeated Sita Salminen in an 8-1 vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists/Changes

• Celebrities: The cast consisted of 18 celebrities in the Finnish media.
• Tribe Chiefs: Tribe chiefs lead the tribes and decide their benefits and rewards. The tribe chiefs have the right to vote in the tribal council, but they cannot be voted out. However, the tribe coaches can be challenged to a duel before the vote. If the challenger wins the duel, they become the new coach of the tribe. The old coach becomes a rank-and-file member, after which they can also be voted for. If the challenger loses the duel, they are eliminated from the game, and no voting is done. After every Tribal Council, the tribe votes for a new tribe coach, unless the challenger won the duel.
• Challenge Island: One contestant from each tribe, sometimes the Tribe Chiefs, would be sent to Challenge Island to compete in a duel for a reward.
• Tribe Switch: At the final sixteen and twelve, a Tribe Switch occurred.
• Immunity Amulet: The Immunity Amulet could be used by a player to negate any votes cast against them at Tribal Council.
• Earn the Merge: At the final ten, the castaways would compete for a spot in the merge, with the challenge allowing five winners. The five who lost would be nominated to be voted out at the next Tribal Council. However, this season, the two Tribe Chiefs at the merge had to give one castaway on their tribe a guaranteed immediate spot in the merge, and everyone was eligible to vote.
