Selviytyjät Suomi 2 is the second season of Selviytyjät Suomi and the fourth season of the Finnish version of Survivor.

After 34 days, Sampo Kaulanen defeated Janni Hussi in a 6-1 vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Production[]

After the show was put on hiatus due to low interest in the first season in 2013, the show returned five years later with a celebrity format. Additionally, the show changed networks, airing on Nelonen for the first time since Suomen Robinson 2005. In addition, Finnish radio presenter Juuso Mäkilähde was chosen as the new host of the show. The prize for the winner was 30,000 euros.

Actress Wanda Dubiel was initially meant to be on the cast, but she was dropped two days before departure after not being cleared by Medical due to a virus.^[1] Her replacement is unknown.

Twists/Changes[]

Shortened Game: The game lasted for 34 days, 5 days shorter than the previous season.
Celebrities: The cast consisted of 16 Finnish celebrities, such as athletes, performers and actors, well-known, and television personalities in Finnish media.
Tribe Switch: At the final twelve, the castaways were switched into two new tribes.
Earn the Merge: At the final ten, the castaways would compete in two groups of five for a spot in the merge. The five who lost would be nominated to be voted out at the next Tribal Council and unable to vote. Those who won would have to unanimously agree to eliminate someone from the losing team.
