Selviytyjät Suomi is a Finnish reality-based competition television show based on the Survivor format.
The Finnish version is produced by Nelonen (formerly by MTV3), and currently airs at 7:30 pm on Sundays.
History[]
In 2003, a Finnish version of the Swedish reality show Expedition Robinson was greenlit for Nelonen. The show, named Suomen Robinson, aired two seasons from 2004 to 2005 before being canceled due to low ratings despite predictions from Nelonen that the show would be a success.
The show was originally presented by MTV3 in 2013, but due to low interest the show went on hiatus until 2018 when Nelonen started presenting the new seasons.
