Sara was selected by Namadia Thaï Thaï to be a part of the Mawar tribe. One of the leading figures of her tribe, Sara was admired for her determination and challenge strength and she became the first woman on Koh-Lanta to start a fire individually. With their captain, Namadia, advocating for the preservation of challenge strength, the majority of the Mawar tribe's members were united in voting out Mélanie Boimare at their first Tribal Council. The next cycle, previously banished contestants Nadine De Carpentry and Bernard Deniaud were integrated into the Mawar tribe. This caused a division in the tribe with one group of contestants led by Namadia continuing to prioritize challenge strength and another led by Sara prioritizing tribe cohesion and work ethic. At the Mawar tribe's next Tribal Council, Sara's alliance managed to sway Thierry Villette to vote with them and they prevailed, eliminating Mickaël Kalfallah. After a streak of challenge losses, the Mawar tribe won the third Immunity Challenge and enjoyed their first break from Tribal Council. Unfortunately for Sara, this didn't last for long as after two separate calls to medics for otitis, she was evacuated and eliminated from the game. Her unorthodox elimination allowed for Élodie Sadeler to return to the game in her place.

La Nouvelle Édition[]
After the opening challenge, Denis Brogniart revealed to the eleven active contestants that they would be starting off the game individually rather than in tribes. With there being more women than men, Isabelle Da Silva formed an alliance with the five other women and they agreed to vote off either Phil Bizet or Philippe Duron at the first Tribal Council. Though she was part of their alliance, Sara was the least socially involved of the women as she spent most of the first cycle trying to accomplish making a fire by herself. Sara annoyed some of her fellow contestants with this obsession as it distracted her from contributing to other aspects of camp life, however, she was praised when she finally succeeded. At Tribal Council, Sara joined her alliance in voting against Phil, however, most of her alliance was blindsided because Florence Delbarre Reuter and Laurence Pizzocchia had flipped on them and joined the men in voting out Isabelle.
The next cycle, Freddy Boucher and Teheiura Teahui entered the game, bringing with them fire that they had started during their long trek in the first cycle. With the pair picking their respective tribemates, Sara was selected by Freddy to be a part of the Simban tribe. The tribe became a cohesive unit, but they lost the first tribal Immunity Challenge. With the contestants voting from their hearts rather than using strategies at Tribal Council, it seemed that Martin Bazin and Phil would be voting against Sara, Freddy and Philippe would be voting against Christina Chevry, and Christina and Sara would be voting against Philippe. At the last minute though, Philippe voted against Sara instead in order to avoid a 2-2-2 tied vote, eliminating Sara from the game in a 3-2-1 vote.
When Isabelle was evacuated and eliminated from the game after fracturing a bone in her foot during the second tribal Immunity Challenge, Sara returned to the game on the Tengah tribe in her place. Like Isabelle earlier in the cycle, Sara made good use of her second chance and became appreciated by her new tribemates. Despite this, when the Tengah tribe lost the third tribal Immunity Challenge, Sara was voted out unanimously for her status as their newest member.

L'Île des Héros[]
Sara was one of five returning players to start the game as the Heroes on a separate island from the rest of the cast. She lost the first entry challenge to Teheiura and Moussa on Day 2, but then she won the second entry challenge on Day 9 and earned her spot in the main game, joining the Lawaki tribe.
Quickly enough, she became an important asset for her tribe, showing them different survival skills and finding many roots of cassava. She also reorganized the way they functioned, pointing out their lack of care for the fishing gear or even the waste management. She grew annoyed at the lack of work ethic of some of her tribemates and bonded with Sam, another survival powerhouse.
A fierce physical competitor, she hurt herself during the first Reward Challenge she participated in, suffering from a hernia. On Day 13, she was once again evacuated, allowing Teheiura to take her spot in the game after the Nacomo tribe voted him out at the previous Tribal Council. She only outlasted her first two outings by two days.
