Sa'ula entered the game with high confidence, but they were humbled after two immunity losses. The remaining five bonded through their struggles, deciding to try and get all of themselves through to the end. Though only four members of this group made it to the merge, their alliance saw success as they fixed a vice grip around the end-game and met little resistance in knocking out all of their adversaries.

Because Sa'ula finished last, they competed against Ta'alo in the next challenge for the second Immunity Idol. ^3 Due to the odd number of players at the time of the tribe switch, Steffi, the odd person out, was sent to the Island of Secrets and rejoined the game as a member of Ta'alo, replacing Rocco and evening the tribes at 7-7. ^4 A Hidden Immunity Idol was played, negating all votes against its user.
