Au Québec depuis maintenant 15 ans, Sébastien a grandi sur une ferme dans le sud-ouest de la France, où il a été élevé par les trois femmes de sa vie : sa mère, sa tante et sa grand-mère. En plus de son métier d'horticulteur, il fait honneur à ses études au Conservatoire de théâtre en performant dans un groupe d'acrobates de rue. Mais cet artiste polyvalent compte garder ses aptitudes spéciales pour lui afin de faire profil bas. Grand émotif et ne connaissant pas la rancune, Sébastien utilise souvent l'humour pour désamorcer les conflits. Plusieurs choses lui font peur dans le jeu de Survivor, mais, armé de son chapeau, il peut tout affronter. « Mon chapeau de paille, c'est mon chapeau de jardinier. Un porte-bonheur qui me rappelle mon attachement à la terre et au vivant ! »[1]

^1 In "Cycle 8", Sapa, as the winner of the Day 15 Reward/Immunity challenge, would as a group, cast a vote that would be read at the next Tribal Council. Sapa would cast a vote against a member of each of the other two tribes in the event that they lose. Since Malaki won immunity, the vote cast against Eric was negated.
^2 In "Cycle 8", due to Kathrine's evacuation, the votes were not read at Ugat's Tribal Council.
^3 In "Cycle 10", the Malaki tribe was subjected to a mock Tribal Council where the players voted against were eligible to be kidnapped by the other tribe.

- Sébastien, along with Danyelle Bachand, Élodie Monga-Dubreuil, Geneviève La Haye, and Kevin Dubé are the first castaways in Survivor Québec to be a member of three different tribes before the merge.
- Sébastien is the first castaway Survivor Québec to be eliminated post-merge but not serve on the jury.
