Rudy met l'ambiance. Il aime rigoler, charrier, s'amuser. Très sociable, pour lui le positif amène le positif. Depuis 2007 il fait carrière à la RATP. Passionné de boxe, il pratique et enseigne le kick-boxing. Un sport qui lui sert d'exutoire pour gérer le stress et les responsabilités du quotidien. Car il est papa solo de deux adolescentes. Et ça c'est du sport ! Très complice avec ses filles, il veut être un exemple, et leur prouver que la détermination et la motivation mènent à tout. Entre sa bonne humeur et son esprit joueur, Rudy a toutes ses chances.[1]
Koh-Lanta[]
Rudy was selected by Helena Roosen to be a part of the Tinago tribe. Rudy aligned himself socially with Esteban Garcia-Mora and Helena and emerged as one of the figures of leadership on his tribe. However, beginning in the second cycle, Rudy began to lose some respect from his tribemates because he was, at times, uncooperative in challenges, be it that he slacked off or that he did not follow directions. Regardless, his positioning allowed for him to survive the first few cycles. At the Final Seventeen, an individual challenge for the Sacred Fire Talisman took place in which Gilles De Baere won and Élodie Migeal finished last, causing the latter's elimination. Denis Brogniart informed Gilles that he would need to choose someone to separate the other fourteen contestants into two groups and that he would then choose which group he would like to be a part of, leaving the other person with the other group and forming two switched tribes. Gilles selected Rudy to do the assignments and, after this was done, the former chose to be a member of the second Paniman tribe, leaving the latter to become a member of the second Tinago tribe.
On the second Tinago tribe, the original Paniman tribe members and the original Tinago tribe members found themselves equal in numbers, but Rudy had an edge in terms of his survival because he found a Vote Steal advantage. He also managed to flip Tania Cakarevic, who was on the outs on the original Paniman tribe and had developed a good relationship with Rudy when she was in possession of the Sacred Fire Talisman, to his side. Unfortunately for Rudy, the other original Tinago tribe members, including his closest ally Esteban, grew scared of his relationship with Tania. In turn, they allied with the original Paniman tribe members, who had similar concerns, and agreed to vote off Tania then Rudy at their next two Tribal Councils. The Tinago tribe lost the fourth Immunity Challenge and Rudy used his advantage against Clémence Noquet at Tribal Council, but it was not enough to save Tania. Knowing that he was in hot water, Rudy got back into Esteban's good graces and tried to rally votes against Anne-Sophie Antoine as the Tinago tribe also lost the fifth Immunity Challenge. Rudy bluffed that he had a Hidden Immunity Necklace and that he would be using it, but the rest of the tribe, save for Esteban, called his bluff and he was voted out.
When Martin Burrus was permanently evacuated and eliminated from the game on Day 18 after severely spraining his ankle, Rudy returned to the game on the Paniman tribe in his place. He reunited with Tania, who had reentered the game a few days earlier and was replacing Benjamin Di Benedetto. Rudy correctly sensed that he was on the bottom of his new tribe and spent most of his time looking for advantages, but this only earned him ire from his tribemates because he was missing opportunities to socialize and was coming across as lazy. Rudy's search was not fruitless though as he did find another Vote Steal advantage.
When the Paniman tribe lost the seventh Immunity Challenge, Rudy took advantage of the fact that he now had two Vote Steal scrolls, which he presented to his tribemates. He showed the information on his newest scroll to his tribemates and informed them that he would be using the Vote Steal advantage that night and then bluffed that the information on his expired scroll was a clue to a Hidden Immunity Necklace but that he couldn't show them this information in order to prevent other people from searching. As Rudy went ahead searching for an actual Hidden Immunity Necklace, most of his tribemates believed his bluff and made plans to split the votes between Tania and Rudy. At Tribal Council, Rudy used his advantage against Tania and successfully caused for Tania to receive one more vote against her than him. However, Gilles correctly played his Sacred Fire Talisman on Tania before the votes were read, nullifying all votes cast against her and causing Rudy's second elimination.
