Survivor[]

Rodney started off on the Escameca (Blue Collar) tribe. His initial strategy was to align with the women using the story behind his tattoo to win them over. Like most of the tribe, he was annoyed by Dan's antics early on, but he was more annoyed by Mike urging him to work more. On Day 9, Rodney and Lindsey got into an argument after Rodney made some sexist comments about women. The Blue Collars finally lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 11. Despite his conflicts with the other men of Nagarote, he set that aside to target Lindsey. After the challenge, Rodney formed an alliance with Mike Holloway, Dan Foley, and Kelly Remington. They joined in targeting Lindsey due to her outbursts at camp. At Tribal Council, the alliance split the vote between Lindsey and Sierra, and Rodney received votes from Sierra and Lindsey. In the revote, Lindsey was eliminated.

On Day 12, the Masaya tribe was dissolved. The remaining castaways switched to either the Escameca or Nagarote tribe. Rodney remained on the Blue Collar tribe along with Mike, Dan, and Sierra while Kelly switched to the no collar tribe. However, they gained White Collars Joaquin Souberbielle and Tyler Fredrickson, and No Collar Joe Anglim. After the tribe switch, Rodney and Joaquin bonded which scared Rodney's former allies. On Day 16, the Blue Collar tribe threw the Immunity Challenge to save former ally Kelly Remington. Rodney, Joaquin, and Tyler targeted Joe because he was the biggest challenge threat. However, Mike and Dan wanted Joaquin gone so Rodney will stay loyal to them. Joe sided with Mike and Dan. Both alliances vied for Sierra's vote. At Tribal Council, Sierra sided with Mike, Dan, and Joe and Joaquin was blindsided in a 4-3 vote which shocked Rodney. After Joaquin's elimination, Mike told Rodney the reason he got rid of Joaquin, but Rodney was still angry and vowed to get revenge on his former allies.

On Day 17, the tribes merged. While Rodney was still with the Blue Collars, he formed an inner alliance with former No Collar Will Sims, former White Collar, Carolyn, and former Blue Collar ally Kelly. The alliance targeted Joe because of his strength in challenges, but he won immunity. Then the alliance targeted Jenn Brown. However, at Tribal Council, Jenn played her Hidden Immunity Idol which negated the seven votes cast against her and eliminating Kelly in a 4-1-0 vote. This angered Rodney. Later that night, Rodney got mad at Mike for switching the vote from Hali to Jenn which caused Kelly's elimination. Tyler joined Rodney's alliance. The alliance still targeted Joe, but he won immunity again on Day 22, so they targeted Hali Ford. At Tribal Council, Hali was blindsided in a 7-4 vote. Tyler won immunity on Day 24 thus ending Joe's immunity streak. Jenn, upset over Hali being voted out, asked everyone to vote her out so Rodney and the others decided to honor her request. At Tribal Council, the votes were split between Joe and Jenn, but Mike used Shirin's vote to eliminate Joe.

The next day, Rodney told Will, Carolyn, and Tyler to vote out Mike next, but Mike overheard their conversation. After the Survivor Auction, Mike outed Rodney to everyone else, however, his plans backfired and his former alliance turned on him. However, Mike won immunity on Day 27, thwarting Rodney's plans of getting rid off him. At Tribal Council, his alliance eliminated Jenn. Mike won immunity again on Day 29 so Shirin became a target. At Tribal Council, Shirin told the others that she was not a threat and Tyler was so they should get rid off him. However, Shirin was still voted out, and after she was, some members clapped and Rodney cheered. On Day 30, it was Rodney's birthday and he hoped to finally win a reward. In the Reward Challenge, Rodney was teamed up with Tyler and Dan. However, due to him forgetting his bag, his team lost the challenge. Mike, Carolyn, and Sierra won the challenge and all three decided not to give up their reward, which infuriated Rodney. He started to whine and complain, which annoyed Dan and Tyler. Then he decided to act like he wanted to quit so Mike would not play his Hidden Immunity Idol, but both Dan and Tyler knew Mike wouldn't buy his story. When Mike got back from his reward, Rodney acted like he wanted to quit, but Mike knew he was lying.

On Day 32, Carolyn won immunity, but, due to Mike possessing the Hidden Immunity Idol, the alliance was forced to turn on each other. At Tribal Council, all the guys for Mike, but Mike played his idol negating four votes cast against him and eliminating Tyler in a 3-0 vote. On Day 34, Rodney was teamed with Dan and Sierra for reward, but he lost again. Once again, Carolyn did not give up her reward, which angered Rodney. On Day 35, Mike won immunity, forcing the alliance of five to turn on each other. Rodney decided to vote for Carolyn because she did give up one of her rewards for him. At Tribal Council, Dan used his Extra Vote advantage and cast a second vote for Carolyn. However, Carolyn played her Hidden Immunity Idol, which negated the five votes cast against her and blindsided Dan in a 2-0 vote.

On Day 37, Mike won immunity, forcing the alliance of four to turn on each other. Rodney told Mike to vote for Sierra because she has done nothing to upset the jury. However, Mike was unsure whether to vote for him or Sierra. At Tribal Council, Sierra accidentally implied that she was a threat, so she was blindsided in a 4-1 vote with Sierra voting for Rodney. Mike won the Final Immunity Challenge. Rodney told him to eliminate Carolyn. However, Mike wanted to take Carolyn to the end. At Tribal Council, both Rodney and Carolyn were tied with two votes each so they had to go to a firemaking tiebreaker. After an hour, Rodney was able to get fire. It was able to go high but unable to cut the rope. Carolyn got fire and her fire was able to cut the rope. So Carolyn won the challenge and Rodney became the eighth and final member of the jury.

At the Final Tribal Council, Rodney asked Will how he was true to himself and asked Carolyn to explain what moves she made by herself and she said blindsiding Tyler and Dan. In the end, Rodney voted his friend Will to win the game, but Mike won in a 6-1-1 vote.

At the live Reunion Show, Jeff Probst polled the jury on who would they would have voted for if Rodney was in the final 3 instead of Carolyn, and the result was Mike beating Rodney and Will in a 5-3-0 vote, respectively.
