Rocksroy Bailey is a contestant from Survivor 42.
The de-facto leader of the Ika tribe, Rocksroy's no-frills, occasionally obstinate approach to the game allowed him to build strong connections, while simultaneously accruing tumultuous relationships due to his perceived bossiness, particularly with Tori Meehan. After the merge, Rocksroy was roped in by ally Drea Wheeler as a dependable member of the majority alliance, but his loyalty-centered outlook left him oblivious to a ploy by Hai Giang and Omar Zaheer to blindside him, which was realized at the Double Elimination.

Survivor[]
Rocksroy formed an immediate bond with the other two older members of Ika, Drea Wheeler and Romeo Escobar. Rocksroy took charge of the shelter building and camp life, which occasionally rubbed some of his tribemates the wrong way. His hard work at camp may have affected his struggles during the first Immunity Challenge, which concerned Drea to the point of potentially targeting Rocksroy. Romeo urged her not to as he was a crucial vote to ensure their alliance kept the majority, so they set their sights on Zach Wurtenberger instead. Despite agreeing with the plan, the decision to keep Tori Meehan as a result proved difficult for Rocksroy, and the two could not see eye to eye either in camp life or strategy. Siding with Swati Goel, whom he took under his wing as a parental figure, he was the only person to vote against Tori on Day 9. Rocksroy and Tori's budding rivalry made it difficult for the Ika four to work together going into the merge.
Following the Immunity Challenge on Day 12, Tori was on the winning team and spoke up to send Rocksroy to Exile Island out of spite. Rocksroy did not mind the time alone, building a shelter that impressed Jeff Probst during his stay. When faced with the decision to break the Hourglass, Rocksroy accepted in order to protect Drea, Romeo, and himself. Tori was the consensus primary target, but she foiled those plans by winning the first two individual Immunity Challenges. Rocksroy had the protection of a majority alliance of seven up until the Double Elimination. Since there were six men and four women at that point of the game, he suggested to the other men that they take advantage of that majority. Hai Giang and Omar Zaheer feigned compliance but, because that plan put their key allies at risk, they decided to turn on Rocksroy instead of taking out outsider Romeo, voting him out at the first of two Tribal Councils on Day 17. Immediately following his elimination, Rocksroy sat in as the second member of the jury on the other team's Tribal Council. His elimination drew the concern of Drea and Maryanne Oketch, both of whom felt compelled to play their Hidden Immunity Idols to break the pattern of Black people becoming early jurors.
At the Final Tribal Council, Rocksroy joined the jury in voting for Maryanne to win the title of Sole Survivor.
