Robinsonekspedisjonen 2003 is the fifth season of Robinsonekspedisjonen.
After 47 days in Malaysia, Emil Orderud defeated Eva de Guia Worren to become the Sole Survivor. The season also featured one evacuation.
Production[]
2,000 participants applied to be on this season. The season premiere was watched by 328,000 viewers, while the finale only received 302,000 viewers. Managing Director Arne-Inge Christophersen of the media agency Initiative Universal believed that the weak viewing figures for the finale were due to the fact that it ran at the same time as TV2's handball match between Norway and Romania.
Twists/Changes[]
- Longer Game: The game lasted 50 days, three days longer than the previous season.
- Smaller Cast: The cast consisted of 16 contestants, two fewer than the previous season.
- Tribe Switch: One person from each tribe was switched to the opposite tribe as tribe chief.
- Tied Destinies: At the final eight, the contestants were divided into four pairs. Once a player is voted out, their partner was also eliminated with them.
- Final Tribal Council Format: Two finalists faced a jury comprised of eight people.
