Robinsonekspedisjonen 1999 is the first season of Robinsonekspedisjonen.

After 42 days in Cadlao, Philippines, Christer Falck defeated Hanne Akre in a unanimous 8-0 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Production

Roughly 5,100 people applied to participate in the season. Filming took place in Cadlao, Philippines, the same location as the Swedish and Danish seasons the same year. Shooting took place from June to July 1999.

The prize awarded to the winner was NOK 250,000, approximately US$22,000 in 2023.

Format

• Tribe Composition: The sixteen castaways were divided into two tribes of eight.
• Merge: The merged tribe was comprised of ten members.
• Sole Vote at Final Four: The winner of the final four individual Immunity Challenge was the only player eligible to vote at Tribal Council.
• Final Tribal Council Format: Two finalists faced a jury comprised of eight people.
