Robinson 2021 is the twentieth season of Expedition Robinson.

Dennis Johansson defeated Annki Nilsson and Joanna Swica in the final challenge to become the Sole Survivor.

Production

The season was filmed in the Haparanda archipelago, located in Norrbotten County in northern Sweden. It was filmed between July and September of 2020. This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic heavily restricting overseas travel.

Twists/Changes

• Contestant Auction: On Day 4, there was an auction held with the castaways' personal items as currency, and the items to bid for consisted of four new castaways: Dennis Johansson, Joanna Swica, Lovisa Almén and Paul Michael Wrenkler. After the auction, Paul Michael and Lovisa joined the North Team while Dennis and Joanna joined the South Team.
• Bloody Revenge Hand Vote: After each Tribal Council, each eliminated castaway was able to give a bloody hand print to one of their former tribemates. The castaway who received the mark would receive an extra vote at their next Tribal Council.
• Challengers: On Day 18, four new castaways were introduced whilst walking in the nearby forests: Anna Frycklund, Rickard Länta, William Seth Wenzel and Wilma Wernersson. The host, Anders, met up with them and told them only two would continue to the game as future tribe leaders for each tribe. They competed in a challenge on Day 20 with all of the remaining castaways watching. Rickard and William won the challenge and became new tribe leaders. They also won Individual Immunity at the first Tribal Council they each attended.
• The Borderlands: After Alexander Chennaoui was voted out at the fourth Tribal Council, it was announced that he wasn't permanently eliminated but that he would become the first inhabitant of the Borderlands, where eliminated contestants would compete in a series of duels to return to the game.
• Tribe Switch: On Day 20, the four challengers competed in a challenge where the two winners would pick new tribes in a Schoolyard Pick. The last castaway to be picked would be eliminated from the game and sent to the Borderlands.
• Simplified Final Jury: After the Tribal Council on Day 41, all former castaways except Lovisa, Wrenkler, Elias Akyol, Alexander and Tova-Sophia Aronsson returned to vote one of the four finalists out of the game, excluding them from competing in the final challenge.
